00:00It's been a magical morning here at Vince's saddle south of Hobart.
00:06We've had snow falling all around the south of the state, as low as 150 metres even in some spots.
00:13That was in Baghdad and the Bureau of Meteorology says that this is pretty normal for this time of year
00:19but it really doesn't change how magical it is because we've had families playing in the snow,
00:24you know, keeping their kids home from school or going late for good reason too.
00:29We even had a mum who was wearing thongs in classic Tasmanian style.
00:34Here is how some of those people were enjoying the snow this morning.
00:38This is just beautiful. We're really, really happy that we could pop up and see this so close to home.
00:43I never expected the snow. It's wonderful. It's just truly lovely. I just love snow.
00:49We couldn't avoid the temptation to try to toboggan down this hill with the tarp off the back of the ute.
00:58So we'll give it a go.
00:59And the snow is already starting to melt and the Bureau of Meteorology says it'll get less and less likely that we'll have snow as we get further into spring.
01:08So...
01:09Let's take a look.
01:10Let's do this in a mub.
01:11Let's do this for a minute.
