MEN OF WAR Movie Trailer HD - Plot synopsis: In May 2020, just weeks after the Trump administration placed a $15 million bounty on Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, approximately 60 Venezuelan dissidents, including two former U.S. Green Berets attempted to reach Venezuela by boat in an effort to remove Maduro from power. Leading the mission was former Green Beret and private military contractor Jordan Goudreau, who branded himself as a real-life action hero and found himself at the center of an international political crisis. Blending tense, real-world drama with the layered complexity of an espionage thriller, MEN OF WAR unfolds through a dynamic mix of archival footage, contemporary interviews, and exclusive prison recordings. The film pulls viewers inside a shadowy web of political double-crossing, covert deals, and shifting allegiances, tracing the path from a botched coup on Venezuela’s shores to courtroom battles and global manhunts. With unprecedented access to key players on all sides, it reveals the hidden negotiations, betrayals, and high-stakes maneuvering that continue to shape the story in real time.

00:00In May 2020, I was raided by the FBI
00:04because I planned and executed an operation
00:09to invade Venezuela in hopes of liberating 30 million people.
00:16How'd that go?
00:18No so bueno.
00:20The self-proclaimed architect of an infiltration
00:23into Venezuela, Florida contractor,
00:25and ex-Green Beret Jordan Goudreau.
00:30Everybody and their mom was trying to liberate Venezuela back then.
00:33We are fighting for 23 years.
00:37Jordan made statements that he was in direct contact
00:41with people within the administration.
00:42Hola, I'm Mike Pence.
00:45We discussed the nature of the operation,
00:48and I was going to catalyze change of government in Venezuela.
00:53I had the military in place.
00:56All we needed to do was coordinate.
00:57I figured, you know what, I'm good to go.
01:00Really? You decide that you're going to save the country?
01:05Venezuela is an extremely resource-rich country.
01:08Let's suppose that we are interested in that.
01:10It was the first business contract I ever signed.
01:12So the contract was for $212 million.
01:15Who's paying for that?
01:17I didn't ask.
01:19There had been camps set up with training going on.
01:23I'm a man of my word, and if I say I'm going to invade a country,
01:26that's typically what I do.
01:28Who is here to even give an opinion?
01:31Stick at it.
01:34There was no U.S. government involvement in this operation.
01:38We'd have been involved, it would have gone differently.
01:39When those guys are in jail, it's like a knife in my heart.
01:42I don't know if we have one foot in reality and one foot in delusion.
01:46We checked the eye, and that was red flag after red flag.
01:50It wasn't in their best interest to liberate Venezuela.
01:52This is like Fyre Fest the Army.
01:54This had no chance of working.
01:59I still have the element of surprise.
02:01His name was on TV.
02:03The contract was on TV.
02:06Was I in over my head?
02:07Yeah.
02:08But I'm always in over my head.
02:12I'm in the over-your-head business.
