00:00With no peace deal in sight, Kiev's allies have gathered on Thursday in Paris

00:05to discuss security guarantees with U.S. President Donald Trump dialing in.

00:11French President Emmanuel Macron said that 35 nations are now part of the so-called

00:16Coalition of the Willing, and 26 of them have pledged to help Ukraine post-war

00:22by sending either troops or equipment.

00:25Not on the front lines, he said, but in deterrence, roles on land, at sea or in the air

00:32once a ceasefire is reached.

00:35Macron also insisted that there should be no limit to the support that Ukraine receives,

00:41not just to defend itself, but to also stop Russia from ever striking again.

00:46He also confirmed that this is no longer just talk.

00:50There's now an official military planning document.

00:52And Germany, Italy and Poland, once skeptical of this whole idea, have also pledged to participate.

01:00But the French leader refused to reveal any more details, saying that he refuses to hand

01:06Russia any strategic information.

01:09And finally, the leaders have also agreed to launch more sanctions along with the U.S.

01:14if Moscow keeps rejecting any peace deal.
