00:00It's extremely easy to exploit a prediction when you don't set parameters, and here's what I mean.
00:05If I have you say a playing card out loud, and you say,
00:09the Ace of Spades, I could say, look, it's behind your ear.
00:13Oh, well, if you didn't say the Ace of Spades, I could say,
00:15oh, not the Ace of Spades, the Seven of Diamonds?
00:17Well, that's underneath the vase.
00:20Oh, not the Seven of Diamonds, but the Queen of Hearts?
00:22That's underneath my watch.
00:24The point is, if I have an out for every single playing card,
00:28it will still look like a really cool magic trick,
00:30because I didn't set the parameters, and I didn't define where this card would appear beforehand,
00:37so of course it looks impressive.
00:38And it's the same thing with making a prediction.
00:41Without a timeline, any prediction will eventually come true,
00:45especially if it's as vague as saying a stock will eventually go down.
00:49Of course it'll go down.
00:50That's what stocks do.
00:52They go up and they go down.
