00:35the moves, the rhythms, the styles, the technique.

00:39She's the reigning queen.

00:41So I'm very grateful that I was lucky enough

00:43to land her as my partner.

00:46And number two, I'm such a, I don't know,

00:51brand new, newbie, I guess you would say,

00:53green guy around here.

00:55I've been dancing my whole life professionally,

00:58so pro.

00:59Oh, but totally different style of dancing,

01:02totally different type of dancing.

01:03And in all those situations,

01:05like the choreographers were there

01:07to work around what I do, right?

01:09They were there to like kind of work with me

01:11and let me lead that.

01:12So for me to take the back seat and turn it over

01:16and say, it's all you.

01:17Take the reins!

01:22So I'm excited.

01:24I'm excited to learn.

01:24How have the rehearsals been so far then?

01:27Great.

01:28I mean, we're just getting started,

01:29so we have a lot of work to do.

01:31But I think people will be so excited to root on Corey

01:36and to see his journey on the show

01:39and to watch him evolve as a ballroom dancer.

01:41I think it's going to be epic and so relatable.

01:45This is a, to be quite frank,

01:48it is a very young cast.

01:51So I think you represent a lot of people

02:22No, I think every season is new.

02:24It's a clean slate,

02:25especially with different partners that you're given.

02:28And I am so passionate about giving each partner

02:32the best experience possible.

02:34So this is a different journey.

02:36I'm obviously so grateful for last year, the win,

02:39but this is new.

02:40This is different.

02:41My intentions are different.

02:43So I'm excited.

02:44I was a little disappointed

02:45that I didn't see Pita on the list, though.

02:47My girl Pita, my sister-in-law,

02:49she's incredible.

02:51But she's killing it.

02:52Her brand is killing it.

02:53I'm so, so happy and proud of her.
