00:00Rehearsals have been going well, too?

00:02Yeah, I think so. It's humbling, though.

00:04I love most in this world is learning new sports.

00:09I love learning new things.

00:11And it feels like this is the most challenging thing I've ever learned

00:14because as soon as you think you've figured it out,

00:16it's like, no, we've got to go back to the basics

00:18because you don't have the basics now.

00:20So it's just like I could spend 10 years trying to improve.

00:24So we're trying to do it in two weeks.

00:26Right. Crunch time. It's quick.

00:28How are you approaching this season differently than you have in the past then?

00:31You don't have a really tall partner this year.

00:34I mean, yeah, he's still pretty tall.

00:38He's still tall.

00:40I've never had a partner with dance experience.

00:42So that's where the fun comes in.

00:44I love watching them become dancers at the end of the process.

00:47And he's just such a great guy.

00:49And he has so much great energy around him with even the people who surround him.

00:54So I don't know. I'm just excited for people to see him.

00:56Yeah. What is more intimidating? The traitors round table or the ballroom?

01:02You had it in the round table.

01:04Now this is way worse because this is the round table, but I'm dancing.

01:08All I had to do is raise my hand in that one.

01:12This one's like, get up on the table and dance.

01:15What is your biggest fear going into this?

01:18The performance.

01:19I've never performed before.

01:21I never did a talent show.

01:22I never did anything on stage.

01:24So this is, I have to learn a lot.

01:27Is there a hesitation in doing this?

01:29Or like you said, you kind of like to learn new things.

01:31You kind of wanted to just dive right into this.

01:32Oh, for sure.

01:33It's like, I immediately, it's like, no way am I going to do that.

01:36And then it's, those are the things that like, you need to reflect on and be like, no, I'm

01:40saying no, because I'm scared.

01:42And I'm scared because I like, maybe like I, this could be the best thing I've ever done.

01:48So it's like stepping out of your comfort zone in that way.

01:50It's like the best thing to do.

01:51What was your family's reaction when you decided to do this?

01:54My dad's super excited.

01:57Like we, we told, he has little kids, four and five.

02:00They're all super excited.

02:01My mom was honestly just like shocked.

02:03Like, cause she's just like, where'd this come from?

02:06Yeah.

02:07My brother is supportive.

02:09He walks the show.

02:10I think he went to a live taping a long time ago.

02:12He's like, he's like, the best part is going to be those live shows.

02:15He was saying like, it's such a good feeling.

02:18Sure.

02:19Is everybody going to be in the audience cheering you on?

02:21We'll see.

02:22We'll see.

02:23Yeah.

02:24I think we got like six tickets.

02:25So we'll see.

02:26Can I give you any advice in like picking up choreography?

02:29Obviously maybe a nod to High School Musical here and there too.

02:32I haven't asked to be honest.

02:34No.

02:35We're standing our own.

02:36We're going to do our own thing.

02:37We're going to do your own thing, which I absolutely love.

02:39Is there a specific dance that you're really looking forward to learning?

02:42I'd be lying if I said I knew everything.

02:44But we're doing cha-cha, which now I know what a cha-cha is.

02:47Yeah, now you're like, I'm just picking up the lingo.

02:50I'm learning the steps.

02:51Who do you think is the biggest competition so far?

02:53Myself, for sure.

02:54Yeah, it's going to be a battle.

02:56If I can pull out what I think I'm capable of, I can do really well.

02:59If I get up there and be shy, it's going to be awful.
