It is adapted from Jin Yong's The Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain and follows a quest for a mysterious treasure left by the King. Ten years prior, a villainous plot led to the tragic deaths of the heroes Miao Renfeng and Hu Yidao, but the treasure map went missing. The film centers on the reappearance of the treasure map and the journey of a young hero to find it, leading to a confrontation with the villains.
