00:00Newly appointed Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon orders a nationwide suspension of the
00:05bidding for all locally funded infrastructure projects as the agency faces scrutiny over
00:10alleged ghost flood control projects. In a press conference, Dizon says,
00:24He adds the President made it clear that he does not want the people's money and projects to be
00:28thrown into the river again. The suspension covers all bidding for DPWH infrastructure projects,
00:34including roads and flood control, across its national, regional, and district offices.
00:39Dizon also says the DPWH review team has been tasked to introduce new safeguards in the bidding process.
00:44In the same press conference, Dizon says the Department has asked the Department of Justice
00:48to issue an immigration lookout bulletin order against several DPWH officials and contractors
00:52allegedly involved in ghost flood control projects. The list, which Dizon said is not yet final,
00:58was based on the ongoing Senate and House probes into the flood control controversy.
