Home Ministry to boost security for rulers after attempt to hug Perak Sultan

The Home Ministry has been instructed to step up security measures after a woman attempted to hug the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, on the grandstand during the state-level National Day parade on Sunday. (Aug 31).

Communications Minister and unity government spokesperson Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the matter was raised during the weekly post-Cabinet meeting on Wednesday ( Sept 3).
