00:20:09loved about that performance because you did start there's so tenderly but it

00:20:14just had gears you know you kept going and going and going and I didn't know

00:20:18the song and I think sometimes you kind of you think am I going for the song I

00:20:22love the song you know that's what's capturing me but with you it made me want

00:20:26to listen because I didn't know it so it was beautiful to to be introduced to

00:20:30that song do any of us know that song no how did you choose that song what is

00:20:35that song it was kind of trending a little bit on like social media I guess I've

00:20:45stumbled upon some kind of hidden gem well you have but also you did something

00:20:50that was really smart which is you chose a song that is not in our

00:20:54consciousness so we have nothing to compare it to because when you choose a

00:20:58song like I will always love you or you know see a song whatever you're gonna

00:21:04always compare to the original that was a very smart move on your part and I would

00:21:08encourage you as you're going forward to make those kind of choices because

00:21:12that's what artists do I feel like I was really hoping that the song would go

00:21:18really well I wasn't even sure that I could get up here and do with the song

00:21:21justice so you should be very proud you know it's something that we haven't heard

00:21:30on this stage is this intimacy that I felt you brought to that I felt like you

00:21:35were whispering gently into my ears you know for the first half of the song it

00:26:06guys like Mick Fanning, Kelly Slater were patients of mine on the tour

00:26:11life took a U-turn as it often does

00:26:15I was diagnosed with benign brain tumour in the deep part of the brain which is hard to get to and hard to get surgery

00:26:22what people don't know is that benign brain tumours can still kill you it's not just malignant ones

00:26:27and who knows how much time I've got left on this earth but I've always loved music music's been a huge part of my life

00:26:36this is what I wanted to do I don't want to die guessing
