↙️📢 AOTR CALLS FOR JUSTICE – HIT & RUN IN LANE COUNTY
On August 31, 2025, 22-year-old Dakota Blue Gilbert was fatally struck and left on the side of Highway 126 near Huston Road in Lane County, Oregon. The driver did not stop, leaving Dakota to perish alone.
Oregon State Police (OSP) are urgently seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect vehicle and driver.
🚨 Suspect Vehicle Details:
Believed to be a light-colored 2010–2013 Chevrolet Equinox
Likely has front-end damage (lower to the ground)
Vehicle is still operable
