00:00Do you have sleep problems? You're not alone. In fact, one of the most common questions I get asked
00:05is, how do I get more sleep? Or, I can't stop thinking. How do I focus on sleep? Well, it's
00:12actually a symptom of depression. Other symptoms include feeling sad, lonely, hopeless, angry,
00:19irritable, having trouble concentrating, feeling worthless or guilty, and even having thoughts of
00:25death or suicide. Now, I'm not a doctor, so please seek professional help if you're struggling.
00:32But here are three things that have helped me overcome depression and anxiety and improve my
00:37sleep. Number one, meditation. There are many forms of meditation, but I prefer the guided imagery type
00:43where you visualize yourself in a peaceful place. Number two, prayer or spiritual community. If you're
00:50religious, talking to God or going to church can be very helpful. And number three, read Bible or
00:56listen. The Word of God has the power to transform your life. It can give you hope when you feel
01:02hopeless and it can help you sleep when you're worried.
