00:17election integrity role. That person being Heather Honey. And who is Heather Honey? Just
00:23in case that name doesn't like trip something in your brain. Well, Heather Honey is a high
00:27profile denier of Donald Trump's loss in the 2020 election and has been appointed to a senior
00:31position in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in which she'll help oversee the nation's election
00:37infrastructure. And that's concerning. Why? Because Honey is a protege of Cleta Mitchell,
00:41a lawyer who tried to help Trump overturn the 2020 election results. In 2024, ProPublica reported
00:46that Honey had played a key role in Mitchell's behind the scenes efforts to change Georgia's
00:51election rules to allow Republican officials to contest the potential Trump loss in that
00:56year's presidential race. Honey also promoted election conspiracy theories, including one
01:01Trump cited in a speech to his followers before they stormed the Capitol on January 6th.
