00:05I think this election will transform the face of British politics.
00:09And why do I think that?
00:11Well, let's look at what the alternatives could have been today.
00:14People could have been sat here today with another Labour MP.
00:18The government would have taken that as things aren't going great,
00:21but actually, you know what, when push comes to shove,
00:23people still vote for us and will just carry on meddling through.
00:26We could have had a Reform MP.
00:29And I believe that the Labour government would have responded to that by saying,
00:32yeah, you know what we need to do?
00:33We need more anti-migrant rhetoric.
00:35We don't need to worry about the cost of the living crisis.
00:37We can just keep fighting on culture wars.
00:40And what happened last night is, despite the fact that the other parties
00:44threw the kitchen sink at us, we had Hannah the Plumber.
00:47And she's, sorry, terrible point.
00:50And ultimately, Hannah has demonstrated the complete opposite of that.
00:54You can be absolutely true to your values, and you must be true to values.
00:58You can talk about social justice, economic justice, and indeed environmental justice.
01:03At the heart of it, lowering people's bills and tackling the cost of the living crisis.
01:08I think a party that can do that at the same time as talking about international affairs,
01:12at the same time as talking about the climate crisis,
01:15and do it with the wit, the humour, and the kindness that Hannah's done,
01:19I think that's a party everyone should be taking really seriously.
