00:01Thank you so much. It's a great privilege to be here.
00:05Shiv, first of all, tell us about your journey.
00:07How was the journey started and what made you do this patch in Joe as well as Mr. India?
00:14Tell us something about that.
00:15So, three and a half years ago was the first ever pageant of my life that I did as a teenager.
00:22And fortunately, I won that.
00:25And since then, ever since, I've had opportunities to walk ramps at fashion hubs of the world like London, Milan, Paris, Dubai, and our very own Mumbai.
00:36I've walked for renowned brands like Vivian Westwood and Michael Lombard and many more.
00:45Parallelly, I'm also a tennis player who's played state and national level.
00:50And I'm a tabla artist who has done multiple public performances.
00:56And I've also won a state competition for the instrument.
01:00Four generations under one group.
01:02Yes.
01:03So, has that ever made you feel pressured or has it downgraded you over?
01:07Not at all, honestly.
01:09I've lived with my great-grandfather, my grandfather, my father, and my older brother.
01:15And each generation has their wide range of values and ethics and knowledge that they have passed down to me.
01:26My family has always been supportive in this venture of mine.
01:30And they always saw the potential in me.
01:33And I'm grateful to my family for that.
01:39I always say that my mother is my guiding light.
01:43My brother is my support system.
01:45And my father is my guiding force.
01:48Also, coming from a business family, I've learned a lot about relationships and courage.
01:55And that has given me the hunger to win.
01:57Honestly, Pune as an environment allows me to do what I like.
02:12For example, I like playing the tabla.
02:14And Pune has great range of landscapes where I can go and practice the tabla.
02:21That gives me the inner peace and calmness.
02:23Also, the culture is rich.
02:26There's a lot to learn.
02:27And I'm grateful to be a resident of the city, Pune.
02:33You strongly believe in eradicating poverty to youth entrepreneurship.
02:39If you had a blank check to start a project, what's the first thing you would invest in?
02:45I'd invest in education of the youth.
02:49Because I believe that education gives direction to dreams.
02:54And it is a great medium to spark the courage in the youth of India.
03:00And also by investing in youth entrepreneurship, they would get a medium and a gateway to make their lives better and create an impact for each other.
03:10And ultimately make this country a better place for all of us.
03:15Mr. India, I think, Sir, when you're 25, you've interviewed forestry excellently.
03:18If you asked to rank academic, athletics and social impact, which one would you say was the most challenging for you to market?
03:24For me personally, athletics was the most challenging because being at such a young age, it's difficult to build so much muscle in such a short time.
03:38Also, being a vegetarian, it makes it challenging for me to consume the protein that is needed.
03:43But I found my ways through it.
03:48Supplements were heavy for me.
03:50But it was all worth it in the end.
03:53And I also believe that food is friend.
03:57So you should always enjoy the food that you're eating.
04:01But also sweat it out like crazy in the gym.
04:05Shiv, I'm saying that youth and entrepreneurship can be a priority.
04:08So you don't have to say that youth and entrepreneurship go hand-in-hand.
04:28I don't want to say youth entrepreneurship that you are already educated, give them a privilege and platform, but the ones who are uneducated, also educate them, and give them a direction so that everyone can prove themselves and everyone has that uniqueness in the country and throughout the world.
04:55And knowing that uniqueness and embracing that uniqueness is the key to success.
05:01And that is why I say that educating and investing in youth entrepreneurship and education is the key.
05:08I think that we are expressing our own qualities just to show what purpose we have and the reason we are here for.
05:14I think that we are expressing our own qualities just to show what purpose we have and the reason we are here for.
05:22I think that we are expressing our own qualities just to show what purpose we have and the reason we are here for.
05:36And that is why we are expressing our own skills and display our own qualities.
05:43In a way, we can see negatively.
05:47But behind it, the reason and the impact that each individual tries to do this display, we can see.
05:58We can see that the potential of our own qualities and the potential of our candidates, Mr. India, who apply is, I believe that their recognition is important.
06:10And that they can see that influence and convert the influence.
06:15I will take an example of a tree
06:38I will take an example of a tree
06:40If there are roots, it will collapse
06:45The foundation is very important
06:47and I always believe that the roots are the seeds of your success
06:51I have learned a lot about values, ethics and humanity
06:59which has benefited me from day-to-day life in this pageant
07:05You have done it all, but if you had to choose between sports and music
07:12which one would you get to shine on the global stage?
07:14I would choose music
07:18because music can deliver a feeling that people experience
07:26and I believe that that feeling is what stays with them for a lifetime
07:32I can't let go of sports however
07:35because tennis has been in my blood since the last three generations
07:40and sports gives me that courage and hunger to win
07:45but if I had to pick one of the two, I'd say music
07:48I would like to explore it
07:58My dream is to work with Ranbir Kapoor
08:01because how he has moulded himself in so many ways
08:05to deliver so many life-changing messages for the whole of India
08:20is something that I really appreciate about him and would like to take from him
08:26For directors, I am open to working with all directors
08:34but one of my favourites is Sanjay Leela Bhansali
08:37because of the culture that he has displayed or shown in the various forms of films that he has created
08:51Lastly, which are the actresses you have to work with?
08:54I'd love working with Alia Bhat and Dipika Padukone
08:58because they are the superstars of my generation
09:03and I have grown up watching their movies
09:06And lastly, what one message do you have to give to the audience
09:10especially your fans and the people who supported you through this project?
09:14I'd just like to express my gratitude to all those who supported me in this journey
09:20my family, my friends, my cousins, my mentors, my teachers
09:27who trained me for this pageant
09:29who trained me to become who I am physically
09:32and yes, I'd like to tell all of you all that
09:37you have to believe in yourself
09:39you have to show up every day
09:41and if you do that, you'll get there
09:43and always remember why you started
09:45because that's what will get you to where you are
