The first episode of Arcane introduces the divided world of Piltover and Zaun. Two sisters, Vi and Powder (later known as Jinx), along with their friends, carry out a daring heist in Piltover’s prosperous topside. What starts as a mischievous adventure quickly escalates when they accidentally unleash chaos, drawing the attention of powerful figures.  The episode sets the tone for the series by showing the stark contrast between the wealthy, advanced city of Piltover and the oppressed, dangerous streets of Zaun. Themes of inequality, rebellion, and survival are established. As tensions rise, the children’s actions unknowingly spark consequences that will ripple across both cities.
