Trapped inside a maze of red houses.

These are called church cottages, that were built near parish churches, mainly in the north of Sweden!. These were used by people who lived in sparsely populated areas with great distances and needed accommodation when they visited the church during weekends and major holidays. The largest and most famous example is Gammelstad church town in Luleå, which is also a World Heritage Site.
