00:10I'm very concerned at the moment for my brothers and sisters in Venezuela.

00:17Why?

00:19I'll tell you why.

00:21The USA has been dispatching warships to the Southern Caribbean in a threatening gesture towards Venezuela.

00:33Recently, Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State of the United States of America,

00:40has accused the Venezuelan government and President Maduro personally of leading a drug cartel called the Cartel of the Sons.

00:55I know, I know. It's laughable.

00:58It's obviously a ruse.

01:03There is no evidence to support Rubio's accusations.

01:10Zero.

01:12My good friend, Gustavo Petro, the President of Colombia, who knows about these things,

01:19has, this week, publicly stated that the whole idea is absurd.

01:26That the Cartel of the Sons does not even exist.

01:31Marco Rubio and the current U.S. administration's current anti-Venezuela propaganda

01:39is just another outright lie.

01:45Very like the weapons of mass destruction lie that was used in 2003 to justify the invasion and destruction of Iraq

01:59and the murder of at least a million people.

02:07There is only one bad guy here, and it is not the people of Venezuela or their president.

02:16The United Nations has an anti-drug program, and a former director of that program,

02:29Venezuela is one of the countries in the region that has collaborated the most in the fight against drug smuggling.

02:47The UN and the DEA both have reports on organized drug smuggling in South America,

02:58and Venezuela is not even mentioned in either of those reports.

03:06Because Marco Rubio is making this shit up.

03:16Please don't look surprised.

03:19It's what they do.

03:22Okay.

03:22The sanctions war started by Obama in 2015,

03:33supposedly because Venezuela was a security threat,

03:39and now this drugs war lie is actually a war to attempt to overthrow

03:46the legitimately elected government of Venezuela that supports the Bolivarian Socialist Revolution.

03:57Why does Marco Rubio want to overthrow your government?

04:02Good question.

04:03Because the people he works for want to steal your oil and anything else valuable

04:15that might be under the surface in Venezuela.

04:22The dispatch of warships and nuclear submarines to the Caribbean Sea

04:28is part of the psychological warfare against the Venezuelan people

04:33and is truly aimed at overthrowing the revolutionary government

04:40and seizing all its natural resources.

04:45This is not rocket science.

04:49It's basic, neoliberal, capitalist, imperialist tactics.

05:00Okay.

05:01I applaud you, my brothers and sisters in Venezuela,

05:07for your steadfast resistance to U.S. global hegemony

05:15and all the rest of their evil bullshit.

05:22I'm digressing now.

05:24I was there with you in 2019

05:26when Richard Branson organized his pop concert on the other side of the border,

05:32funnily enough, in Gustavo Pedro's Colombia,

05:36to support Guaido and that particular attempt to deco in Venezuela.

05:40Well, you resisted that and you will resist this now

05:45because you are on the right side of history.

05:51And we, ordinary people all over the world,

05:55standing shoulder to shoulder,

05:57together we can turn the ships around

06:01and that includes the ships of the American war fleets

06:06sailing towards you in the Southern Caribbean,

06:09if that's even true.

06:11Who knows?

06:12They could be making all of that up as well.

06:15But Simon Bolivar is still with us,

06:20Aziz Hugo Chavez.

06:22And we, the people of the world,

06:26are with you in your revolutionary struggle

06:29for equal rights for all.

06:32So that's all I have to say today.
