A video released this week showed for the first time the mass firing of Ukraine’s strategic “Flamingo” cruise missiles, which hit targets in Russian-controlled territory.
The footage, published by the Telegram channel Mykolaiv Vanyok, shows a triple launch at sunrise from the Ukrainian coast. The missiles take off in sequence, powered by solid-fuel boosters.
The existence of the new weapon only became public on August 17, when Associated Press photojournalist Efrem Lukatsky shared the first photos on his Facebook page.
