00:00September is looking like a monster month for TV series lovers with an absurd amount of new
00:05shows dropping. It's by far the most loaded month I've seen since I started making these videos
00:10with 29 shows worth a mention. Welcome back everyone, I'm Matthew, this is Cinegold. We
00:15got a lot to look at this month so let's jump on in. How many of you have actually written for a
00:19paper before? I wrote a paper in junior high. Not quite the same thing. I've tweeted. You've
00:24tweeted? This is terrific. The first series of the month is a spin-off of the classic comedy
00:29The Office. It's called The Paper and again it's a mockumentary sitcom, this time following the
00:35staff of a struggling newspaper who is trying to keep journalism alive in the digital age. The
00:41paper is being created by Greg Daniels who also created The Office and will be releasing on the
00:46streaming platform Peacock. All 10 episodes of season 1 will drop on September 4th. Releasing on
00:52the same day is another spin-off of the police procedural series NCIS. It's called NCIS Tony
00:58and Ziva and it reunites two of the franchise's most beloved characters. Tony and Ziva are now
01:04living in Europe and raising their daughter when they're pulled into a deadly conspiracy that forces
01:09them back into action. You can watch NCIS Tony and Ziva on the streaming service Paramount Plus
01:15where it will premiere with 3 episodes on the 4th followed by 7 more weekly episodes.
01:20After that we keep the spin-off train rolling with The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon Season 3. This third
01:26season again sees Daryl and Carol continuing their dangerous journey across Europe while trying to
01:32return to the US. Most of season 3 will be taking place in Spain and it's set to be the penultimate
01:38season with a 4th and final season still on the way. You can catch The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon on AMC
01:44or AMC Plus when it starts dropping a total of 7 weekly episodes on September 7th. We do have a lot of
01:51brand new original series dropping this month. The first of those is the upcoming crime drama,
01:56Task. There's been a spate of home invasions. They want me to put together a task force.
02:02No, it's not a great time. No, I don't have any choice.
02:06Task is an intense crime thriller series from Mayor of Easttown creator Brad Inglesby. It's about an FBI
02:12agent who's assembling a task force in the working class suburbs of Philadelphia targeting a seemingly
02:19ordinary family man who may be orchestrating a string of violent robberies. Task will star Mark
02:25Ruffalo and Tom Pelfrey. It will premiere on both HBO and HBO Max at the same time on September 7th.
02:32It will be a total of 7 episodes long and will release new episodes weekly.
02:36Another series that's returning this month is the mystery comedy Only Murders in the Building. This is
02:42season 5 and it brings back the gang for another round of amateur sleuthing in New York,
02:47but this time their true crime podcast leads them into a case that's bigger,
02:51messier, and filled with a whole new cast of eccentric suspects. Only Murders in the Building
02:56is one of Hulu's biggest hit shows, and season 5 ups the ante with some big guest stars. You can
03:02check it out on Hulu in the US and Disney Plus and other regions. Season 5 will be 10 episodes and
03:08will start releasing weekly on the 9th. Next we jump to September 16th for High Potential,
03:13Season 2, this breakout ABC crime dramedy series brings back the high IQ single mom turned LAPD
03:21consultant who's got a whole new stack of unsolved mysteries. Season 1 of High Potential quickly
03:26built up a cult fanbase, and Season 2 promises to bring fans more of what they love. High Potential
03:32Season 2 will air weekly on the ABC network first, followed by releases on Hulu and Disney Plus shortly
03:38after. There's no official word on how many episodes Season 2 will be, but is expected to be 13 plus.
03:44Next up is the return of the boys spin-off series,
03:47Jin-V.
03:48This makes you one of the most powerful suits in the world.
03:55Season 2 of Jin-V picks up right after the chaos of Season 1, as well as the boys Season 4,
04:01and places the young superheroes of Godolken University under a new fascist-like regime.
04:07Jin-V is a prime video series, and Season 2 will be 8 episodes. You can stream 3 episodes on the 17th,
04:14followed by weekly episodes after that. Then it's the return of one of Apple TV Plus' most acclaimed
04:20drama series. It's The Morning Show Season 4, the series about the lives of the people who helped
04:25America wake up in the morning. It's a newsroom drama that stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.
04:31It's been a pretty big hit so far, and fans can check out 10 more episodes with Season 4. They
04:36will be releasing weekly on Apple TV Plus starting on the 17th. There are plenty of new Netflix series
04:42dropping this month. One of the bigger ones is a brand new series called Black Rabbit.
04:47If we're gonna be lying to everybody else, we need to be honest with each other, Jake.
04:54Black Rabbit is a thriller miniseries about a New York City restaurant owner who lets his estranged
05:00brother back into his life. But when old debts come crashing in, the siblings must navigate a
05:05dangerous underworld or risk losing everything. Black Rabbit stars Jude Law and Jason Bateman. It
05:10looks to be a noir-style crime drama set against the pulsating backdrop of New York City nightlife.
05:16Black Rabbit will be an 8-episode series that drops all at once on Netflix on September 18th.
05:22Next up is the return of the Paramount Plus crime drama series Tulsa Keen. This is Season 3 of the series
05:28that stars Sylvester Stallone as a mafia capo who is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma after a prison sentence
05:35and establishes criminal operations there. Season 3 finds him defending threats from a powerful old
05:41money dynasty that doesn't play by the rules. Tulsa Keen Season 3 will be 9 weekly episodes and will
05:48premiere on Paramount Plus on the 21st. Another Tulsa set series about a bookstore owner who exposes
05:54corruption in his hometown drops on the 23rd. It's called The Lowdown and it's an 8-episode series
06:00you can watch on FX. Another one of Apple TV Plus' hit series returns this month, this time it's
06:06Slow Horses Season 5. Slow Horses Season 5 is the witty spy thriller series about a group of dysfunctional
06:21MI5 agents. Season 5 is based on Mick Herron's 5th Slough House novel London Rules where Roddy Ho's
06:28unexpected new romance sets off a web of bizarre connections across London. Slow Horses Season 5
06:35will again be 6 episodes and will start dropping weekly beginning on the 24th. There's also a 6th and
06:417th season of Slow Horses still on the way. You can watch it on Apple TV Plus. One of Netflix's big
06:47original series is back this month, it's Alice in Borderland Season 3, the Japanese sci-fi thriller
06:53series about Tokyo residents who are trapped in a deadly alternate world where survival depends on
06:59playing brutal games. Season 3 finds the group dragged back into the world of Borderland where
07:04the stakes are higher than ever. No official word on how many episodes Season 3 will be, but it will
07:09most likely be 8 and will drop all at once on Netflix on the 25th. Netflix has a couple of brand new
07:15series dropping on the same day. The first is called Wayward. It's a mystery thriller that takes place in
07:21a pleasant yet sinister town called Tall Pines that has a dark underbelly tie to the troubled teen
07:27industry. Wayward stars Toni Collette and will be 8 episodes. It will drop all at once on the 25th.
07:33The other new Netflix series is called House of Guinness. It's a historical drama set in 1860s
07:39Dublin and New York. It follows the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness which threw the fate of his brewery
07:45into chaos, forcing his four adult children into a power struggle. House of Guinness will be 8 episodes
07:50and drops all at once on the 25th. And we still have loads more new and returning shows that I'm
07:55going to run you through a bit quicker. The first is The Runarounds. This is an Amazon Prime musical
08:01teen drama about a group of friends chasing fame. It drops on the first. There's loads of adult comedy
08:07series returning this month. The first of those is Mike Judge's Beavis and Butthead Season 3,
08:12the continuation of the revival of the animation's dumbest duo. It drops on Comedy Central on the 3rd.
08:19The Girlfriend is another brand new Prime series. It's a psychological thriller about a mother who
08:24suspects her son's new girlfriend isn't who she seems. It drops on the 10th. Tyler Perry's Beauty
08:30in Black returns to Netflix with Season 2 and continues the secrets, betrayals, and family intrigue.
08:36It releases on the 11th. Futurama Season 13 brings Fry, Leela, and Bender back for more time-twisting
08:43sci-fi comedy adventures on Hulu and Disney Plus on the 15th. The NBC medical drama about genius doctors
08:50tackling high-sticks cases. Brilliant Minds is back for a second season. It releases on the 22nd. The
08:56Fox mystery drama Murder in a Small Town is also back for a second season. It drops on the 23rd. A brand
09:03new animated series from Marvel called Marvel Zombies will be releasing on Disney Plus on the 24th.
09:09Crime drama series Law and Order Organized Crime returns to Peacock for a fifth season, bringing more
09:15greedy high-stakes investigations. It returns on the 25th. A new Apple TV Plus thriller starring Jessica
09:21Chastain as an undercover investigator infiltrating extremist groups called The Savant drops on the 26th.
09:28And then Fox's animation domination lineup is back on September 28th, with new seasons of The Simpsons,
09:35Bob's Burgers, Crapopolis, and Universal Basic Guys all dropping on the same 9th, September 28th.
