00:00The starting point of personal greatness is when you say to yourself,
00:05what wonderful thing am I going to do with my life?
00:08Why am I here? I have this one life, this precious, precious life,
00:12and as you know, this life is not a rehearsal for something else.
00:15This is the real one.
00:17You say to yourself, what am I going to do with my life?
00:20Why am I here? What are my unique talents and abilities?
00:23Look back into your life and ask yourself,
00:26what is it that you've done in the past that you most enjoy?
00:29What is it that you've done in the past that comes easy to you,
00:32but which may be difficult to others?
00:34What are the things that hold your attention?
00:36What are the things that are indicators that this is where
00:39you should be focusing all your talents and abilities?
00:42Whatever it is, find it, and then commit yourself to becoming excellent at it.
00:48The one piece I was missing was me having the courage to face myself.
00:52That's where David Gaga's got really invented.
00:55When you start to build yourself up,
00:57you know what kind of strength comes from that?
00:59I made this person by diving into the insecurities that life gave me.
01:03What gives you confidence is not being afraid.
01:06It's overcoming the fear.
01:08It's not in that comfort zone.
01:10When I started figuring out life,
01:12once I realized, my God, man, it's in the discomfort zone,
01:16but once again, it was the best thing that ever happened to me.
01:19You never examine this.
01:22It's not a trophy on the wall.
01:23It's not a medal on your neck.
01:25It's all up here.
01:26You just got to go and go and face it.
01:30Most of the limitations we have do not exist in reality.
01:34They exist only in your own mind.
01:36And one of the starting points of great achievement is to start questioning those self-limiting beliefs
01:41and throw them off and act as if they did not exist.
01:46And when you act as if they didn't exist, lo and behold, they simply disappear.
01:51As a man thinketh in his heart, or as he believeth, so is he.
01:54The law of expectations over and over is what you expect you get.
01:58You get not what you want, but what you expect.
02:00That your expectations, especially your expectations about outcomes,
02:05how you think things are going to turn out, become your own self-fulfilling prophecies.
02:11Commit to getting after in the morning.
02:13Commit to it.
02:15Commit to it.
02:16I know you're scared of it.
02:17Commit to it.
02:18Let's go.
02:19Let's go.
02:20Commit to it.
02:22Commit to it.
02:23Commit to prioritize and execute.
02:25Commit to hydration.
02:26Commit to clean fuel.
02:27Commit to no sugar-coated lies.
02:30Everyone, everyone knows with 100% certainty, 100% certainty,
02:36that this will make you better in every aspect of your life.
02:39Every aspect of your life.
02:40But it takes discipline.
02:41It takes will.
02:42And it takes commitment.
02:44I said to myself, one point, okay, I'm going to do it or die.
02:49That's it.
02:50I'll starve to death if necessary.
02:52But I'm going to do it.
02:53I'm going to stick with this then.
02:56And that's my advice.
02:58Mine to you too if you're struggling still.
03:01Yeah.
03:02Don't give up.
03:03Do not give up.
03:05Sometimes, things always look darkest.
03:08You doubt yourself in the initial stages.
03:11Eventually, you will come to the point where you actually feel to the bottom of your soul like a successful, positive, confident, cheerful, optimistic, unstoppable human being.
03:24The hardest things bring the greatest rewards.
03:35Sometimes, the easiest path isn't the one we're meant to take.
03:38Deep down, you know it, don't you?
03:40The things that are hard.
03:41The real sacrifices.
03:43They carry a weight.
03:44A feeling you can't shake.
03:46Choosing the harder path, the one nobody else wants, is where the journey toward greatness begins.
03:51Now, ask yourself.
03:53How many times have you turned away because something felt too tough?
03:57How often have you chosen comfort over challenge?
04:00Avoided discomfort because the other paths demanded more.
04:04But here's a truth few accept.
04:06The best things in life come at a price.
04:10And it's not paid in money or possessions.
04:13The cost is sweat, time, and sometimes tears.
04:17Greatness asks, what are you willing to sacrifice?
04:21Are you ready to step out of the ordinary and pay the price that greatness demands?
04:25Because this isn't about someone else's path.
04:27This is about blazing your own trail.
04:29It's hard.
04:30If it feels like nobody understands, then you're probably doing something right.
04:34The hardest choices, the sacrifices that hurt the most, those are the ones that truly matter.
04:39So, are you ready to choose the path less taken?
04:42Are you willing to be more than what's expected?
04:46When you face the hard choice and push forward, you're building resilience.
04:51You're conditioning yourself to handle adversity.
04:54Each time you choose what's hard over what's easy, you're choosing growth over stagnation.
04:59And that's how you get stronger.
05:01That's how you prove to yourself that you're capable of more than anyone thought, including yourself.
05:07But why is it so tempting to avoid the hard road?
05:10Because comfort is seductive, sacrifice is the fire that shapes you.
05:15And though it may burn, it transforms you into the person you need to become.
05:20True sacrifice means understanding that what you're giving up today is paving the way for something better tomorrow.
05:27It's an act of self-respect, an acknowledgement that your goals deserve nothing less than everything you have.
05:35And you're willing to sacrifice, to truly embrace discomfort.
05:40That's when you become unstoppable.
05:42That's when your potential is unlocked.
05:44Now, let's bring it closer to home.
05:47Think about your own life, your dreams, your goals.
05:51Are you really ready to sacrifice?
05:53Are you prepared to give up comfort, let go of the things that hold you back, and face the unknown to reach your potential?
06:01This isn't a question with an easy answer.
06:04Sacrifice isn't something you decide to do just once.
06:07It's a choice you make every day.
06:10It's waking up and choosing discipline over excuses.
06:13It's staying on your path, even when others turn back.
06:17So ask yourself, what are you willing to give up to reach your goals?
06:22What comfort, what distraction, what safety net are you ready to leave behind?
06:27The question isn't about what you want.
06:29It's about what you're willing to give up to make it happen.
06:32The path to greatness is long, and the cost is high.
06:36It's going to take everything you've got.
06:38Be honest with yourself.
06:40Success isn't reserved for the lucky or the privileged.
06:43It's for the resilient.
06:45The ones willing to push through the pain, face their fears, and go after what they want with everything they have.
06:52And if that's you, if you're truly ready to make sacrifices,
06:56then start today.
06:58Start trading what's easy for what's meaning.
07:01Remember, success is built on daily choices.
07:04It's not a single moment of bravery.
07:12If you're prepared to give up comfort for something more,
07:15then you're already closer to achieving your dreams than you realize.
07:19Embracing sacrifice doesn't happen overnight.
07:22It's a habit.
07:23A mindset that takes time to build.
07:26You have to train yourself to see discomfort as part of the journey.
07:29Like an athlete trains their body.
07:32You have to train your mind to push through obstacles.
07:35Each time you push yourself a little further,
07:37each time you choose discipline over convenience,
07:40you're building resilience.
07:42Think of sacrifice as a muscle.
07:46The more you work it, the stronger it gets.
07:49Just like an athlete trains their body to handle physical stress,
07:52you need to train your mind to welcome challenges.
07:55It's choosing the path that feels hard because that's where growth happens.
07:59It's committing to your goals on the days you'd rather quit.
08:02Discipline is the foundation of sacrifice.
08:05Without it, the journey becomes scattered and the vision fades.
08:08But with discipline, each small action builds on the last.
08:12Every day you stay on track.
08:14You're investing in the person you want to become.
08:17Create routines that challenge you.
08:20Routines that push you beyond what's comfortable.
08:23Whether it's training, work, or learning something new.
08:27Each small choice builds a foundation of sacrifice.
08:30And here's the truth.
08:32The pain doesn't necessarily get easier,
08:34but your ability to handle it grows.
08:36Sacrifice isn't about erasing pain.
08:38It's about training yourself to endure it.
08:40With each day, you'll find strength you didn't know you had.
08:43Each challenge you face, each decision you make to keep pushing forward,
08:48brings you closer to becoming the person capable of achieving greatness.
08:51The more you practice, the stronger you become.
08:55Because sacrifice, discipline, and resilience
08:59are the keys to unlocking the potential you have within.
09:02And each time you choose what's hard,
09:05you're moving one step closer to becoming who you're meant to be.
09:09When it's all said and done,
09:11the hardest things in life are what define us.
09:14The sacrifices, the struggles, the sleepless nights,
09:17they're all building something within you that no easy path ever could.
09:21When you embrace the pain of sacrifice,
09:23you're creating a future you'll be proud of.
09:25You're proving to yourself that you're capable of anything.
09:28But remember, this isn't about anyone else.
09:31This journey, this path, it's yours.
09:35It's about becoming the best version of yourself.
09:38And the only way to reach that version is through sacrifice.
09:41So ask yourself again, what are you willing to give up?
09:46What are you ready to let go of in order to gain something greater?
09:50Because in the end, the rewards aren't just about success or achievements.
09:54They're about knowing that you gave everything you had,
09:57that you didn't settle, and that you chose the path of growth over comfort.
10:03Embrace the hard road, chase the challenge,
10:06and let every sacrifice bring you closer to the greatness you know you're capable of.
10:14The strength to face discomfort.
10:20We live in a world that's constantly trying to sell us comfort.
10:23Everywhere you look, there's a promise of ease,
10:26shortcuts, quick fixes, instant gratification.
10:30We're told that the path of least resistance is the one we should take,
10:36that anything worth having should come without struggle.
10:43But I'm here to tell you, that's a lie.
10:46Comfort, convenience, and ease.
10:51These are not the things that build a strong, fulfilled life.
10:55In fact, they're often the very things that keep us stuck.
11:01Growth doesn't happen in comfort.
11:05Strength isn't built when everything is going smoothly.
11:09You don't become the person you're meant to be by avoiding challenges,
11:13by sidestepping obstacles, by staying in the safe, familiar spaces.
11:18Growth happens when you face the discomfort.
11:23When you lean into it.
11:25When you choose to show up even when everything inside you is telling you to turn back.
11:31We're conditioned to believe that discomfort is a sign that something is wrong,
11:39that we're on the wrong path.
11:40But discomfort is a signal.
11:44It's telling you that you're moving beyond your limits,
11:48that you're stretching,
11:50that you're pushing yourself into new territory.
11:54And that's where the magic happens.
11:56That's where transformation begins.
11:58If you look at anyone who's ever achieved anything meaningful.
12:07You'll find that they all have one thing in common.
12:11They chose to embrace discomfort.
12:17They understood that the hard moments,
12:19the ones that test you,
12:20the ones that make you doubt yourself,
12:22the ones that make you question everything.
12:25Those are the moments that shape you.
12:30Those are the moments that build resilience.
12:33But here's the thing.
12:35Most people never tap into their true potential
12:37because they avoid those moments.
12:41They choose comfort over challenge.
12:44They choose safety over risk.
12:46And in doing so,
12:47they settle for a life that's smaller than the one they're capable of living.
12:50They settle for routine.
12:51For mediocrity.
12:52For a version of themselves that never has to struggle,
12:53but also never gets to grow.
12:54We have to stop seeing discomfort as the enemy.
12:55We have to stop treating struggle as something to escape from.
12:57We need to start seeing it for what it really is.
12:59An opportunity.
13:00A chance to prove to ourselves what we're made of.
13:07A chance to step up and show that we're not afraid of the work.
13:08That we're not afraid of the pain that comes with pushing past our limits.
13:29Life isn't meant to be easy.
13:32limits.
13:36Life isn't meant to be easy, it's meant to challenge you, to test you, to push you.
13:42And every time you face that challenge, every time you push through that discomfort, you're
13:47building a new level of resilience.
13:52You're becoming someone who can handle whatever life throws at them.
13:55You're becoming unbreakable.
13:58Here's what the world needs to hear right now.
14:01It's okay to be uncomfortable.
14:02It's okay to struggle.
14:04It's okay to feel like you're out of your depth.
14:11That's where real life happens.
14:13That's where you find out who you really are.
14:16It's not in the moments when everything is going well.
14:18It's in the moments when you're facing the storm, when you feel like quitting.
14:26When you don't know if you have what it takes, but you keep going anyway.
14:30We're so used to avoiding discomfort that we've forgotten how to endure it.
14:36We've forgotten that it's part of the process, and as a result, we've become fragile.
14:41We give up at the first sign of difficulty.
14:44We retreat when things don't go as planned.
14:50And we wonder why we don't grow, why we don't change, why we don't become the people we want
14:55to be.
14:56But here's the truth.
15:00You cannot grow without discomfort.
15:03You cannot become stronger without struggle.
15:06You cannot achieve anything of real value if you're always running from the hard parts
15:10of life.
15:13You have to be willing to face it, to stand in the fire, to know that even when it's painful,
15:19even when it's uncertain, you're becoming stronger.
15:24You're becoming someone who doesn't just survive, but thrives.
15:28We need resilience more than ever.
15:31We need people who are willing to endure, who are willing to take the hard path.
15:35Not because it's easy, but because it's worth it.
15:44We need people who are willing to show up, day after day, even when they're tired, even
15:50when they're discouraged, even when it feels like nothing is changing.
15:57Because they know that it's in those moments that they are building something real.
16:05It's easy to quit when things get tough.
16:07It's easy to run when the pressure builds.
16:10But what if instead of running from discomfort, you decided to run toward it?
16:17What if you saw it as the gateway to your own potential?
16:23What if, instead of letting it defeat you, you let it be the thing that forges you into
16:28someone who can't be broken?
16:33Because here's the thing.
16:35Life is going to be hard, whether you choose to lean into discomfort or not.
16:40The difference is, when you embrace it, when you choose to see it as an opportunity instead
16:45of an obstacle, you gain control over your own growth.
16:47Most of us are only one to 10% away from greatness.
17:09But we think we're so far away from it that we never try.
17:14And once I started going down this journey, I started realizing that, and those percents
17:19started to add up.
17:21And before I knew it, my mind started hardening that I started passing so many different people
17:26that I thought were so far above me.
17:28And then before I knew it, man, I became a common, a more steel common.
17:33Now, what if adversity wasn't a problem, see, what if it wasn't a problem?
17:39What if it was a privilege?
17:41If you think back in your life, again, your biggest growth moments came from your biggest
17:49theme moments.
17:50If you look back on your life, you realize, man, I had a privilege to go through that.
17:56That adversity builds your purpose, makes you understand your purpose more.
18:09It's easy to use your childhood as a crutch instead of seeing it as a chisel.
18:14I always hear people say, my family is so dysfunctional, using it as an excuse or something, but it's
18:19not really a valid excuse because everybody's family is dysfunctional in some way.
18:24There are so many crutches people want to use to justify themselves.
18:28But for me, you have to eliminate every single one of them, get rid of them all.
18:33Then tell yourself it's up to you.
18:36What are you going to do now that you let go of all those crutches?
18:41And you have to be willing to put yourself in very difficult situations at all times to
18:48be able to do that.
18:50So my big takeaway of life is if you're constantly taking the easy way out, you're never going
18:56to call us your mind.
18:57And when you're in those points where you want to quit and not quitting and seeing how the
19:02mind starts to operate in those moments of fear, anxiety, self-doubt, insecurities, and that's
19:10where you learn to fix it.
19:12He'll fix it in 72 degree weather, fix it by going into the environment.
19:20Can we define a bad day without comparing it by definition to a good day?
19:29Vice versa.
19:31We decide what a good day is by comparing it to what a bad day would be.
19:41You can't have good days if you don't have bad days.
19:46If there are no bad days, the good days don't exist.
19:52That's why failure is so important, like failing and up and making mistakes, it's very important.
19:58That's how you learn.
19:59Let's see, the bad feeling that you get from something that you shouldn't have done or wish
20:04you didn't do or wish you did better, it's dangerous to dwell on past mistakes because
20:10people sort of define themselves by the worst moments that they've ever had.
20:14They don't like the feeling of failure, so they keep low expectations so that they never
20:17have to feel that, they gotta get through it.
20:22You know, first and foremost, I think about my life and I think about adversity and I think
20:27about opposition, but for the most part of my life, I've been on this quest to figure
20:31out how can I work hard for something and my performance is not based upon the outcome.
20:39How can I work and my effort and my motivation and my drive is not based upon what the product
20:45will be, but more so based upon me taking pride in what I do.
20:48And so I came up with this thing called process over product.
20:52And what I mean by the process, I'm talking about the way I handle my business on a daily
20:55basis and the way I go about every single aspect of my life.
20:59I live by this thing called empty the bucket, but what they don't understand, it's an unspoken
21:04law.
21:05Empty the bucket, it's an unspoken law of accountability and responsibility to me on this earth and my existence
21:10and everybody that is connected to me.
21:12I may be crazy, but I don't know.
21:14I just believe that I supposed to give everybody that is connected to me the bad version of
21:19me.
21:20It's really heavy when you start to look at your, you know, you look at your life, you
21:28look at your health, you look at your business, you look at your family, you look at your relationships
21:34and you look at all those things that are messed up in all those areas.
21:37And when you say all those things, all those problems in my business, my life, my health,
21:41all those things are my fault.
21:43That's really a heavy weight to bear.
21:49But it's also extremely liberating because if it's all your fault, you're the one that
21:53can fix it.
21:54You're the one that can get your business back together.
21:56You can repair the relationships.
21:57You could get yourself healthy.
21:58Like you can take control of all those things.
22:02I was the one holding me back.
22:05I was the one looking for the escape goal.
22:08And you know, I was looking for all these ways to say, it's okay, David, you're a loser.
22:12You're a boring loser.
22:14So it's okay.
22:15It's on me.
22:17The people around me are up.
22:20They're not going to save you.
22:22You got to save yourself.
22:23My friend, I was like, man, this rest of your life is going to suck.
22:28It is going to suck.
22:28Not because you're going to be a loser, but because you're going to finally start to win.
22:34And when it is not easy, my friend.
22:40Winning requires you to go so far deep inside yourself.
22:47It's way beyond the surface.
22:49It's way beyond in Tuck.
22:51It's going to a place that a lot of people hadn't visited in a long, long time because they're afraid to visit that person.
23:02Because when they visit that person, they don't know who that person is anymore.
23:11Everyone already has the answer inside of them.
23:14You're not really learning anything new.
23:15You're just trying to get rid of all the bad lessons you learned.
23:18And for me, one of the ways I've always thought about is you can't take the world further than where you visited internally.
23:25The sun's always out, but often it's covered with the clouds.
23:29The sun is always out.
23:31It's just getting covered by the clouds, and that's us.
23:33We've just been covered.
23:34And we get covered by those clouds, and they cloud our identity, they cloud our perception.
23:39So all we're doing for ourselves and others is clearing out the clouds.
23:43And the more we do that for ourselves, the more we can do it for others, and the more we do it for others, the more we do it for ourselves.
23:48Make the hard decisions, make the sacrifices, make the unpopular decisions, and become comfortable in your own skin.
24:00And if you are not a person that you are comfortable being alone with, that is the one person in this universe that you have full power, full right, and full responsibility to change.
24:13Life is not easy, it is not. Don't try to make it that way. Life's not fair, it never was, it isn't now, and it won't ever be.
24:22Do not fall into the trap, the entitlement trap, of feeling like you're a victim. You are not. Get over it and get on with it.
24:33And yes, most things are more rewarding when you break a sweat to get them.
24:37Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water.
24:46Now water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend.
24:52The cost of wasting time-time.
25:06It's the most valuable resource we have, yet it's the one we treat the most casually.
25:13We let it slip through our fingers like it's infinite. Like we have all the time in the world to do the things we want.
25:18To become the person we aspire to be. To live the life we imagine for ourselves.
25:25But deep down, we know that's not true. We know time is running out.
25:30And every second we waste is a second we'll never get back.
25:36We tell ourselves, we'll start tomorrow. We'll get to it later.
25:41We make excuses. Convincing ourselves that we need more time, more preparation, more energy.
25:51We wait for the right moment, the right opportunity, the right feeling.
25:57And before we know it, days turn into weeks. Weeks into months. And months into years.
26:06And we look back, wondering where the time went. Wondering why we haven't made progress.
26:13The truth is, time doesn't wait. It doesn't pause for us to get ready.
26:19It moves forward, relentlessly. Whether we're using it or wasting it.
26:26And the more we hesitate, the more we procrastinate, the more we let fear or doubt hold us back.
26:34The more we allow life to pass us by. You see, we act as if we're guaranteed tomorrow.
26:41As if we're guaranteed the next hour. But nothing is guaranteed.
26:46We assume that the opportunities we have now will still be there later.
26:53We think we can afford to wait. That there's no urgency.
26:56But the reality is, the only thing we're guaranteed is now.
27:06This moment. This chance to do something with our lives. To take action. To make a decision. To move forward.
27:16The clock is always ticking. And while you're sitting there, contemplating.
27:21Wondering if you're ready. Wondering if you're good enough. Your time is slipping away.
27:29And that's the harsh reality. Time wasted is time you'll never get back.
27:34You can't reclaim it. You can't buy it back. Once it's gone, it's gone.
27:43We spend so much time planning. Thinking. Overthinking.
27:47We're waiting for the perfect conditions. The perfect mood. The perfect set of circumstances.
27:52We tell ourselves, once everything lines up, then I'll start.
27:59But life doesn't work like that. There's no perfect moment. There's no flawless plan.
28:07There's only action. Imperfect. Messy. But necessary action.
28:11Because the longer you wait for perfection, the more time you waste.
28:15We have to stop waiting for permission.
28:17We have to stop seeking validation from others.
28:22Hoping someone will tell us we're ready. That it's our time.
28:27No one is coming to save you. No one is going to hand you your dreams.
28:31You have to go out and take it.
28:36You have to make the decision that now is the time.
28:39That you're done waiting. Done making excuses.
28:42Done making excuses.
28:43If you want to change your life.
28:45If you want to achieve something.
28:47If you want to be something more than you are right now.
28:50You have to act.
28:55You have to take that first step.
28:57Even if it's small. Even if it's uncertain.
28:59Because action, no matter how small, builds momentum.
29:04And momentum is what drives change.
29:07The problem isn't that we don't know what to do.
29:12Deep down, most of us know exactly what we need to do to move forward.
29:18The problem is that we're scared to do it.
29:21We're afraid of failure.
29:22Afraid of judgement.
29:23Afraid of getting it wrong.
29:25But here's the thing.
29:26The fear of failure is costing you more than failure ever could.
29:33The time you spend avoiding action.
29:35The time you spend stuck in fear.
29:37Is time you'll never get back.
29:39Ask yourself.
29:44How much longer are you willing to wait?
29:46How much longer are you willing to let fear dictate your life?
29:49How much time have you already lost?
29:51And how much more are you willing to give away?
29:54Before you decide enough is enough.
30:00The great tragedy isn't that we fail.
30:02It's that we don't even try.
30:08We let opportunities pass by because we think there will always be more time.
30:12More chances.
30:13But life doesn't owe you opportunities.
30:15It doesn't owe you time.
30:20You have to make the most of what you have.
30:22Right now.
30:23Today.
30:24And yes.
30:25It will be uncomfortable.
30:26Yes.
30:27It will be hard.
30:32But discomfort is where growth happens.
30:34It's where change begins.
30:36We often wait for motivation.
30:38Thinking we need to feel inspired before we take action.
30:41But motivation is fickle.
30:43It's not always going to be there when you need it.
30:51What you need is discipline.
30:53The discipline to act.
30:54Regardless of how you feel.
31:00The discipline to start.
31:01Even when you're uncertain.
31:02Even when you're tired.
31:03Even when you're scared.
31:05Because discipline.
31:06Not motivation.
31:07Is what will carry you forward.
31:08Discipline is what turns intentions into reality.
31:09The reality is.
31:10Life is shorter than we think.
31:11We have less time than we assume.
31:12And one day.
31:13You're going to look back.
31:14And you're going to wish you'd taken action sooner.
31:24You're going to wish you hadn't let fear stop you.
31:25You're going to wish you hadn't wasted time waiting for the perfect moment.
31:27and one day you're going to look back and you're going to wish you'd taken action sooner
31:34you're going to wish you hadn't let fear stop you
31:38you're going to wish you hadn't wasted time waiting for the perfect moment
31:42so what's stopping you what's holding you back because i promise you there is no later
31:51there is no better time there is only now if you want something go after it
31:59you want to know what's so dope about you you've never given up after all the stuff you've been
32:08through you still here i don't think you realize how amazing that is people would have been given
32:17up that that was in your shoes but you didn't and you should congratulate yourself for that because
32:24that means blessings are coming your way in due time
32:27this is a reminder just to tell you you're doing amazing yo you got to keep on going and not many
32:36people can do that so and keep doing what you're doing man you're doing amazing truth talk is cheap
32:44action is expensive action is always going to cost you something right are you willing to pay the
32:50cost more importantly are you willing to accept the cost
32:53it's sad that most people will never find any level of satisfaction in today because the only
33:01thing keeping them going is the thought of escaping the present if friday afternoon is the only thing
33:07you look forward to your life is painful because there's a lot of time between fridays and one friday
33:14finally arrives it passes pretty quick when the only thing keeping you healthy and mindful
33:20is the thought of tearing it all down as a reward your own demise is your priority and that does not end
33:28well if your life does not consist of achievements and overcoming on a daily basis you have a problem to
33:36solve but in my mind there is no question of your capability to solve that problem
33:45you've always got to put purpose first and you may not know what your purpose is i can tell you this
33:50people go hey man i want to i want to find my purpose and i have to remind them that purpose is not
33:56something that is lost and therefore you're not just going to find it you have to develop your purpose
34:01and the place you start is putting off pleasure and putting off desires and focusing on purpose and
34:08duty first
34:13life isn't fair at all at all so what are you gonna do about it i knew that no one was coming back to
34:21help me no one was a miracle me to be somebody special all my situations were on me now it's solely
34:28on me it was on me and that's the thing you have to realize everything you do you may have some
34:35support you may not but it's on you you have to make the decision whether you want to be a badass
34:41or whether you just want to be mediocre and everything's okay
34:48on the other side of your discomfort is where your real true journey begins you know you've decided oh
34:54this is my walk you know this is the way i stand oh when i stop this is how i stop and this is what
34:59i do and this is what i do with my hand and when i take my first step this is what i do right that's
35:04not really who you are that's choreographed and that is practice and that is what you've decided is
35:09the coolest way from your point of view but the minute that you trip and fall and if you really want
35:14to know who you are it's how you get back up when you get back up because you have no cool on you then
35:19right you're getting up in shame or you're getting up in pride whatever it is that's who you really
35:24are part of life is about getting hurt about failing and getting back up and dealing with
35:30adversity and setbacks and realizing that what you thought was a short path is actually going to be
35:34the long path to success and you're going to have to take that journey if you really want it
35:39this might come as a surprise to you but you are a mirage from a distance you look like someone who's
35:46driven someone who's going places with ambition but the second you get up close you realize that
35:52there's nothing there no action no consistency and no discipline you tell yourself that today's the
35:59day that you'll finally take some action yet the moment reality hits that all vanishes and you wonder
36:06why you always feel so stuck if you want to make progress towards your goals you need to gain a
36:13substance and the way you do that is by taking action start with an action that you'll take tomorrow
36:19just one and once you do that you're going to do it the next day and then the day after that and
36:25once you've done that enough times you're going to add another action that you're going to do
36:29consistently and you're going to repeat that process over and over and over again eventually you'll
36:35transition from a rise into something solid you will become real someone with true substance
36:43someone who when they says that they will do something actually gets it done and once you get
36:48to that point your goals will follow
36:54here's the thing with success every time there's success you have to be prepared for the darkness
37:02so anytime something happens good to you you have to sort sort of now look out for what's going to
37:09anchor that because you can't have sunshine without darkness a lot of times when people get the success
37:14and don't know that the darkness is coming that's when you see them trip and fall but you've gone to
37:20the mountaintop you can look at it it's almost like a algorithm it's like when they win that big trophy
37:27something happens if they don't shake it off quick they can't get back into the game
37:33you know i think we all have dreams i think we all have a vision of ourselves living this type of life
37:42but some people will never do anything close to taking even steps towards that dream what the is
37:49holding you back at the end of the day you are alone in this world you are alone you could lose everybody
37:56and still be here who and what the hell is holding you back it is just you and your ignorance to go
38:02and figure out what it takes to go and do what you're supposed to do so that you can get to those
38:06dreams so that those visions become reality and you just get off about the thought now imagine that was
38:11really your life imagine that was really what you felt every single day you got to see it breathe it
38:16you got to be it you simply just don't want it bad enough get the to work just remember you are
38:25still becoming okay one day you will look back at this version of you knowing that you are doing your
38:33very best just give yourself time
38:54i don't think it's meant to be easy
38:56now this pain but it'll pass just like everything else and since you know pain your heart is stronger
39:13your soul understands more
39:20you could live
39:21because there are moments when you couldn't
39:28it's not important that you become a good fighter in this world
39:33and it's not important that you become a good spiritual guide in this world
39:38it's important that you find a way to live a pleasant life and in the best case
39:45support other people that they also find the same
39:49this is what it's about no matter in which form you put it in which
39:55for cultural background to put it the main idea is if you don't find this
40:02way of reducing the suffering of your surrounding
40:10your suffering won't stop
40:11you learn things painfully when you learn something painfully a part of you has to die
40:20that's the pain you know but a dream is shattered for example a huge part of you that constituted that
40:27dream maybe even the biological substrate of that gene has to be stripped away and and burned life is a
40:33constant process of death and rebirth
40:36and to participate in that fully is to allow yourself to be redeemed by it
40:43and so the good is that process of death and rebirth
40:47voluntarily undertaken it's like you're not as good as you could be so you let that part of you die
40:52and if someone comes along and says you know
40:54there's some dead wood here man it needs to be burned off you think well that stuff's still a bit
41:00alive when that burns it's gonna hurt it's like yeah well no kidding but maybe the thing that emerges
41:07in its place is something better and i think this is the secret of human beings this is what we're like
41:15comes to your girl when it comes to becoming the best version of yourself when it comes to you
41:19changing certain things you have to view it as a process and you have to give yourself grace to go
41:24through it and to go through that process and part of the process is making mistakes part of the process
41:31is having bad days part of the process is having setbacks right and mess ups in the journey right
41:38and that's why awareness is so important you have to be aware of when you do mess up or when you do have
41:42a bad day or you do make a mistake you have to be aware of it so that you can catch yourself
41:48and reflect on it so you can learn from it and grow from it right because then right there it's
41:53not a hindrance then it's an opportunity and it's a lesson that helps push you even further
41:59where do you want to go what do you want to do what do you want to see what do you want to be
42:04what do you want to have what do you want to share what projects we'd like to support
42:08what would you like to be known for what skills would you like to learn
42:11some extraordinary things you'd like to do ordinary things you'd like to do
42:14right silly little things you'd like to do very important things you'd like to do decide decide
42:20on all that stuff and write it down write it down write it down that's how simple this stuff is
42:25and it's your own private list if it's really private you know on your list put some stuff in
42:29code where nobody can understand it if this list decide what you want and write it down make a list
42:35if a tree falls in a forest but nobody sees it or hears it fall did it fall the same goes for
42:46doing work if you do work you don't tell anybody about the work you do and nobody sees the work you
42:52do then does the work get done in their minds from their perspective no for you you might be thinking
42:59i'm over here working my butt off why do people not understand what's going on and it's because
43:04you probably are a phenomenal executor but you're not yet a phenomenal advocate
43:11the process of finding yourself begins first with unfinding sorting through all you're not but thought
43:18you were digging past the opinions that define you past the labels masks and words underneath the
43:24love you've been given or the love that's been withheld past the self-preserving lies to the
43:30secrets you'd never tell it will feel first like a funeral like who you are is being ripped away
43:37but eventually you'll find that mourning is just another word for making space stay with the discomfort
43:44be open to the change clear out the clutter until nothing much remains and once your home is clean
43:51your twisted knots unwound and losing all you thought you were you might finally be found
44:00this is us right now zoomed in all right here's a day or here's an hour or here's a minute
44:05but as we zoom out it looks like this now those events are just situations that happen but they don't
44:14mean anything until we add perspective to it perspective determines how i experience a situation
44:23how is it we both experience the same thing
44:28but we don't actually experience it the same way this is what perspective does so why am i saying this
44:36nothing is nothing is really good nothing is really bad until you say it is this is how you eliminate
44:45suffering in your life this is how you eliminate the heartache the struggle the adversity this is how
44:53you get rid of it or how you move through it it's through you consciously shifting your perspective
44:58because when i consciously shift my perspective now i'm determining how i experience this
45:03the best piece of advice that i ever received is that you are what you think about everything that
45:09you think about you become you become what you think about thoughts lead to actions actions
45:15lead to behaviors behaviors leads to lifestyle lifestyle returns your destiny so everything begins in the
45:21mind if you can control and wield your mind you can very much determine your destiny you decide
45:28and you commit and you determine your mindset and you wield it you can become successful
