Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian walked out of his law school admission exam 20 minutes in—and made the life-changing decision at Waffle House that he was going to become an entrepreneur.

00:07But its beginning started after its founder walked out of the LSAT.

00:10Alexis Ohanian told The Wired's Uncanny Valley podcast he was 20 minutes into the LSAT

00:16when he realized he made a mistake, so he walked out.

00:19Ohanian then went to the nearest Waffle House and decided he was going to be an entrepreneur.

00:24He and his roommate, now Reddit CEO Steve Huffman,

00:27skipped their spring break trip to Cancun to pitch a mobile food ordering business

00:31to Y Combinator co-founder Paul Graham, but it didn't quite hit the mark.

00:35So they went back to the drawing board,

00:37and that's when the community-based social media forum Reddit was born.
