Geeky computer whiz Paul (Jeffrey Byron) is not happy to discover that his long-suffering girlfriend, Gwen (Leslie Wing), has been abducted by villainous sorcerer Mestema (Richard Moll). Mestema promises to release Gwen if Paul can complete seven different challenges in seven different realms. Paul consents, and Mestema equips him with a computerized wristband capable of firing lasers and transports him to face the perils he must survive if he ever wants to see Gwen again.

00:06:57Hey, it's a way of, uh, unwinding at the end of the day.
00:07:01You know a way of clearing your thoughts?
00:07:02I see, you know a way of getting home, huh?
00:07:03I think of you.
00:07:03Say you ought to try it sometime.
00:07:04I say you ought to try it sometime.
00:07:05I mean, look, we could run together after work.
00:07:06What do you say?
00:07:07Run, Paul?
00:07:09Huh.
00:07:09I don't think so.
00:07:11When the end of the day comes, all I do is I want someone to take me home in a stretcher.
00:07:16Running, my friend, is absolutely crazy.
00:07:19I'll see you tomorrow.

00:10:27Good evening, Paul. How did the repairs go?
00:10:31Oh, they went fine.
00:10:33Yeah, it's coming too easy.
00:10:41How was my time?
00:10:43Three minutes over yesterday.
00:10:45Yeah, I guess I got a lot on my mind.
00:10:47Account overdrawn.
00:10:50Yeah, I know. I'll take care of it in the morning.
00:10:55Paul?
00:10:55Hi.
00:10:57Are you going to help or what?
00:10:59You got a lot of stuff. You want some help?
00:11:00Hurry, hurry.
00:11:00You want?
00:11:01Oh, hey.
00:11:03Wow.
00:11:05I only asked for a sword fist thing. Would you buy it at the whole store?
00:11:07Hey, look, I bet you have absolutely nothing in your refrigerator.
00:11:10Somebody's got to look after you.
00:11:11Oh, yeah?

00:11:20Oh, Paul.
00:11:23God, they're beautiful.
00:11:25I knew something was up.
00:11:26When I first walked in the door, you were acting really strange.
00:11:28Gwen, let's get married.
00:11:31What?
00:11:33Let's get married.
00:11:34Look, it'll be perfect.
00:11:35I talked it over with Cal.
00:11:36It all adds up.
00:11:37You talked it over with Cal?
00:11:38Well, yeah.
00:11:38Oh, God.
00:11:39Why did this happen to me?
00:11:40How did I fall for a guy whose first love is a machine?
00:11:43Look, you don't understand.
00:11:45And what I've developed with Cal, it's what gives me an answer.
00:11:49Every time I think about that experiment you were involved in
00:11:51and how you're able to link up.
00:11:55Hey.
00:11:57He can't link up the way we can.
00:12:05Mary, that is a big step, Mr. Bradford.
00:12:09And if I'm going to be Mrs. Bradford,
00:12:11I want to know exactly how I stand in relationship to it.
00:12:14Oh, not so loud.
00:12:15Oh, my God.
00:12:15I'm just kidding.
00:12:17Look, I'm not in love with my computer.
00:12:20I am in love with you.
00:12:26Oh, yeah?
00:12:37You're a good cook.
00:12:39Oh, yeah?
00:12:40Mm-hmm.
00:12:41I actually, uh, Cal found this great recipe
00:12:45in this Metropolitan Art Museum magazine.
00:12:47Mm-hmm.
00:12:49That's nice of her.
00:12:54Hey, I forgot dessert.
00:12:56Oh, Paul, I don't want dessert.
00:12:57No, you're going to love this.
00:13:01Okay.

00:13:27You're consumed with a passion.
00:13:29I would just be a wife.
00:13:30So, uh, what's wrong with that?
00:13:35Nothing, except I want more.
00:13:38I want to be a part of your life.
00:13:40You will.

00:18:58Sertan.
00:19:02Excellent.
00:19:06Yours is a magic I have never encountered.
00:19:12Actually, uh, it's not magic.
00:19:17It's man's ability to take science in order to...
00:19:21For a thousand years,
00:19:27I have scoured the Earth in the ages.
00:19:32Here and there, I've found a minor challenge.
00:19:36But now, there is you.
00:19:42You and your machines.
00:19:45The new magic.
00:19:47Now, here is how it will be.
00:19:50I, Mastema,
00:19:53have devised seven challenges.
00:19:58Lose one,
00:20:00just one.
00:20:01And I shall have both your souls.
00:20:07Paul, what if this thing is real
00:20:09and we can't get out of here?
00:20:11Paul!
00:20:11Hey, look, uh,
00:20:14look, I'm Paul Bradford from Xyrex.
00:20:17Ah!
00:20:47Paul, are you there, Paul?
00:20:55Gwen!
00:20:56Gwen, I'm over here.
00:20:58Where? I can't see you.
00:21:00Just stay put. I'll find you.
00:21:02But it's cold.
00:21:06Paul, where are we?
00:21:09Looks like Miss Dima's private art gallery.
00:21:17Oh, my God, that's Einstein.
00:21:29Oh, there's Bloody Mary.
00:21:31What a weird combo.
00:21:34That looks like Louis XVI.
00:21:36Isn't he the one who invented the guillotine?
00:21:39No.
00:21:41But he lost his head in one.
00:21:42Oh, Paul, I don't like this place.
00:21:48It gives me the creeps.
00:21:50Yeah.
00:21:51Looks like every criminal in the world is here.
00:21:55Paul!
00:21:57My hands are freezing.
00:21:59I can't feel a thing.
00:22:02Just hang in there, Gwen.
00:22:04I think I see you.
00:22:06Paul!
00:22:07My legs are frozen.
00:22:09I can't move my feet.
00:22:11Just keep cool.
00:22:12Oh, cruel.
00:22:13Oh, God.
00:22:14Paul, I've frozen all over.
00:22:16Don't leave me.
00:22:18I'll be right there.
00:22:21Paul!
00:22:24What is it, my dear Gwen?
00:22:27Would you like me to warm you up?
00:22:31Shall I raise the temperature?
00:22:32June?
00:22:42Lord, is that you?
00:22:56Lord, is that you?
00:23:10I'll be right there.
00:23:11I'll be right there.
00:23:12I'll be right there.
00:23:13I'll be right there.
00:23:14I'll be right there.

00:23:26I'll be right there.
00:23:27I'll be right there.
00:23:28I'll be right there.
00:23:29Oh god!
00:23:38Oh!
00:23:39Oh!
00:23:52What are we going to do?
00:23:54Cal?
00:23:56Cal?
00:23:57Cal?
00:23:58Ice crystal! Where's the ice crystal?
00:24:00What ice crystal? We're gonna die!
00:24:28Your performance was quite good, Excalibrate.
00:24:34Where is she? Where's Gwen?
00:24:38Trust me.
00:24:40Yeah, well, I don't think so, Mstima.
00:24:48All right, all right, I'll play your game.
00:24:51You're playing because you have no choice.
00:24:54Good point.
00:24:58Where's Gwen?
00:25:03Isn't love grand?
00:25:28Here we come.
00:25:34What do you think?
00:25:37How will you be here?
00:25:40Oh!
00:25:43Ah!
00:25:45All right.
00:26:15Hello.
00:26:20Greetings, Excalibrate.
00:26:22Welcome to my domain.
00:26:24I am Rathspit, caretaker of the dead.
00:26:29Dead?
00:26:30Yes.
00:26:31I control these discarded us that once contained the human soul.
00:26:37Why am I here?
00:26:39To test you against that which every man must face.
00:26:44Death?
00:27:06Well done.
00:27:08I command your abilities.
00:27:10So, uh, I'm at your challenge.
00:27:16Can I get out of here now?
00:27:23Gaze upon it.
00:27:25It is your own death at the hands of Nessie Teema.
00:27:55What's this?
00:27:59You give up so easily?
00:28:02Not at all.
00:28:04It comes for you.
00:28:06You're wrong, spit rat.
00:28:08Rat spit.
00:28:10How?
00:28:11How is it that you can destroy that which is your own destiny?
00:28:23That creature was not my destiny.
00:28:26Nessie Teema has perceived it.
00:28:29That thing is only a culmination of future possibilities.
00:28:34In a future reality, I shall destroy you.
00:28:40I reject your reality and I substitute my own.
00:28:44You are a bold adversary.
00:28:50Oh, my God, Paul.
00:28:53Gwen, are you okay?
00:28:55No, I'm not okay.
00:28:57I'm having a very bad dream and you just happen to be in it.
00:29:01You lovely creature.
00:29:04Keep her out of it, Miss Teema.
00:29:08Keep her out of it, Miss Teema.
00:29:17Keep her out of it!
00:29:18Paul, don't push your luck.
00:29:38Oh, my God.
00:29:59Let's go.

00:34:23You performed magnificently.
00:34:26Now let us continue our conversation.
00:34:29We've got nothing to talk about.
00:34:32Nonsense.
00:34:33We have art, history, myths, love, hate, magic.
00:34:44Yeah, well, I only talk about those things with people, Mistema.
00:34:47Paul, be careful.
00:34:49You know what you are?
00:34:50You're the lowest of the low.
00:34:52You use people for your own entertainment, your own little whims and fancies.
00:34:58You're an egotistical, overbearing...
00:35:03There is no way to penetrate this barrier.
00:35:14It has the strength of a million souls, the power of the dead.
00:35:25Oh, Paul.
00:35:26You have spirit, woman.
00:35:32Why waste your tender youth, your supple body?
00:35:39He is a mere child.
00:35:42Not from where I'm standing.
00:35:45Looks like you got more than you bargained for.
00:35:47How quaint.
