South Korea installs holographic police officer to deter crime

South Korea’s police have installed a human-sized 'holographic' officer in central Seoul to deter crime. An image of a police officer is projected onto an acrylic panel every two minutes from 7 p.m. (1000 GMT) to 10 p.m. (1300 GMT). AI-powered surveillance cameras monitor the area, which is often busy at night due to nearby bars.
