00:00Congratulations, Shuti, on an unbelievable career run.
00:04I mean, the last few years, it's gone from Sex Education
00:06into the likes of Barbie, into Doctor Who,
00:08one of my favorite shows of all time,
00:10into starring in movies with Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman.
00:13How often do you take stock to take a moment and be like,
00:16what happened here? What is this?
00:19Every second of my life.
00:23Now is one of them.
00:25How did I end up here?
00:28I don't know how, but I'm not complaining.
00:32This kind of movie, was it a bit of a breather, in a way?
00:36Because you've had a very, very intense couple of years.
00:39It's very well-publicized how hard it is to do shows like Doctor Who,
00:43you know, hours and hours every day, months and months of the year.
00:46You've done, I think, two lots of theater.
00:48That's going to be really intense.
00:50But a movie like this looks like you guys were just kind of having fun, in a way.
00:54It felt like a breeze. It was so much fun.
00:57The script was so, so much fun.
01:00It was so enjoyable.
01:02And then getting to watch, like, a football team of, like, incredibly talented actors do what they do brilliantly every day was very inspiring.
01:12But mainly, like, the vibe that Olivia and Benedict brought to set was just so chilled out.
01:21Olivia was so chilled about everything.
01:24I was like, I can really learn a thing or two.
01:27I can really learn a thing or two here.
01:30It was so nice. It was really nice work and nice.
01:33And we were in Devon, like, in the sunshine, having scones in between takes.
01:38Like, it was a lot of fun.
01:40How has the last few months been for you?
01:42Have you been able to kind of relax after, like, a really intense bit of work?
01:46Or are you just doing so many projects at the moment that you haven't really managed to kind of stop and breathe for a few minutes?
01:52There's a lot of projects.
01:54A lot of stuff going on.
01:55There's a lot going on.
01:57At the moment, I'm doing a play called Boring With Teeth.
02:00It's a two-hander.
02:02Very intense.
02:03Very fun.
02:04Very intense, as you can hear.
02:07But, yeah, no, I love what I do.
02:10I love what I get to do.
02:12And so it's a lot of fun.
02:14I'm not complaining.
02:15And I wonder, what's the most exciting thing you think you've learnt and you've soaked up over the last couple of years of working with the incredible talent that you have?
02:23Just to, like, enjoy it all.
02:26And so it never feels like a job.
02:28And to also have, like, as much of an outside life from the industry as you can to keep you being a full, rounded human being in order for you to contribute to one's own art.
