United States The Intrepid Museum The Intrepid Museum celebrates the people and technological innovations that have shaped, and continue to shape, our world. It is an immersive and fun place where history and STEM are showcased through marvels such as the world’s first space shuttle; the world’s fastest commercial airliner; a nuclear-weapons-carrying submarine; and dozens of military aircraft, including a supersonic spy plane, all displayed in and around the historic landmark aircraft carrier, Intrepid.

00:19The flight deck was a highlight for me as I see the aircrafts, including an SR-71 Blackbird, up close.

01:12The visit started with showing the Kluge voucher at the Welcome Center to exchange for our tickets.
01:19We took about three hours to visit the submarine and tour the aircraft carrier.

01:27The crowd on the day of our visit was not overwhelming and so we did not have to spend a lot of time queuing up for the various activities.

01:44You get to go on the Intrepid and see how officers worked on the ship, not to mention the Space Shuttle, numerous fighter jets and helicopters on display.

02:05Interesting museum about enterprise, Intrepid, used in World War II and later, and allows you to enter into a decommissioned submarine carrying nuclear warheads, used during Cold War.

02:23There are five floors and many planes on the decks, with many international tourists and school group children.
02:31It takes about four hours to visit, so it is best to arrive early and arrange the morning time.
