00:00A historic three-peat has been achieved by Filipina powerlifter Jessa May Tabuan at the World Junior and Sub-Junior Powerlifting Championship in Costa Rica.

00:10Tabuan ruled the 52-kilogram class to capture her third consecutive world title after previously winning the 47-kilogram crown in 2023 and the 52-kilogram division in 2024.

00:23She registered a 170-kilogram squat and a 172.5-kilogram deadlift while also setting a new Asian Junior bench press record of 110 kilograms, 5 kilograms heavier than her previous mark.

00:39Overall, Tabuan tallied a total lift of 452.5 kilograms, surpassing the Philippine Junior record by 17.5 kilograms.
