00:17The Philippine Masters Games Association, or PMGA, has released a list of sports to be played in the upcoming 2025 World Masters Games
00:26from the 17th to the 30th of May in Taipei, Taiwan.
00:30A total of 33 sports will be played in the said international event where the PMGA is expecting.
00:38The Philippine Masters and Senior Athletes will be participating in the event,
00:42just like other national sports associations in the country.
00:45Triathlon Philippines, or TRAP, is also pleased with the participation of their sport in the event.
00:51According to TRAP Vice President Sarita Zafra,
00:54this is a great opportunity for the Masters and Senior Triathletes to represent their country in the international stage.
01:02Based on the unofficial registration of TRAP,
01:05more than 1,000 participants have registered their names for the event.
01:12As a part of the 2025 National Age Group Triathlon in Subic, Kamakailan,
01:17the Masters and Seniors category is the first time that a lot of people participated in the event.
01:24Aside from the medal given by TRAP to the winners of the National Age Group Triathlon,
01:29another medal from the Philippine Masters is given to the Masters and Senior Athletes who won the event.
01:36In the leadership of PMGA President Atty. Alberto Agra,
01:39this is a great thing, not only for them, but also for the Masters and Seniors
01:45who want to be active in sports despite their age,
01:49which is in line with the PMGA's goal and motto that sports is for everyone.
