00:00Just literally finished my appointment and I went in there and as always it's so lovely to see

00:05the wonderful Sheldon unit honestly as I always say they are real life heroes everybody who works

00:12on that department but when I was like how's it been I said oh it's been so busy like

00:18ridiculously busy and I just went my heart just sunk because then I said I was like that means

00:25then more people are needing treatment or more people are being diagnosed and yeah my heart just

00:32yeah absolutely sunk just feeling for all those but then it just made me realize how important it

00:38is to raise awareness to share my story um yeah and to remember if you're not checking yourself

00:45who is and early diagnosis diagnosis can save your life yeah make sure you're looking after

00:54yourself and you know your own body better than anyone else and if you feel different or something's

00:59not right please get it checked out by GP um but I'm just yeah in awe of all that work on the unit

01:07they work so so hard um but also just seeing the joy that strictly brings them as soon as I walked in

01:13like who do you think your partner is and you know we're having guesses and all asking how it's going

01:20and also so excited for me and then there was a lovely lady in the corner um having treatment

01:26she was sat in the chin as I went to leave and she's saying she came over and um she had a big

01:32smile and just said my friends are not gonna believe it can I have a picture and just like

01:36for me being able to just chat a little bit of strictly while she was receiving her treatment

01:41and seeing the joy it brings it just makes me so proud to be part of a show

01:47that just brings smiles to the nation
