COUPLE DITCHES KITCHEN TO COOK PIZZA ON AN ACTIVE VOLCANO
WITH PIX AND VID
By Shuk Yee Tsang
A couple swapped their kitchen for volcanic heat when they cooked pizza inside an active volcano.
Mitchell Taylor and his fiancée, Brittany Trovarelli, from Victoria, Australia, travelled to Pacaya Volcano in Guatemala for the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The couple decided to show off their chef skills by making a handmade pizza, then cooking it in a natural volcanic oven heated by lava rocks.
The fiery feast has drawn praise online, with viewers calling it 'a memorable experience'.
Mitchell, a graphic designer, said: “The pizza was delicious and one of the most unique activities we’ve ever done.
"It was one of the wildest food experiences we’ve ever had!”
Brittany added: “This is going to ruin pizza for life, because we’ll always say remember when we cooked pizza in a volcano!”
