00:00So today I am here with the evergreen, the most gorgeous Isha Kopikar.
00:05I am at her place and we have the beautiful Gandhati Bamba here as you can see very beautifully she has decorated the full place.
00:14And I am so very fortunate here, enough to be here at your award, humble award.
00:22Which is not humble at all which is very beautiful and lucky.
00:25It is humble.
00:26But you have done it so beautifully. I just want to understand firstly, what does this festival mean to you personally?
00:34Like I mean, is there any certain memory that you can relate to?
00:39I am very fond of Bappa. I love Bappa. He is everything to me.
00:43So when he comes, this festival of his homecoming, 10 days of Ganesha Turti is the most rejoicing days of my life.
00:55I love these 10-11 days and from the time I have opened my eyes, I have celebrated Ganesha Turti.
01:05Because my family has celebrated Ganesha Turti and their families have celebrated Ganesha Turti.
01:12You know, I mean, generations have, yeah. So, it's what you see, you grow up to. Yeah. Yeah. And I feel very connected to Bappa. And I have had Bappa for the last four years. This is my fourth year.
01:29Wow. Lovely. And I heard you speak about, you know, how you try to keep it very eco-friendly.
01:35That's right.
01:36And it's very important for the environment both in sort of, you know, be in sync with our personal beliefs.
01:42That's right. So, how do you do that personally?
01:45For the last 20 years in my mother's house, we had this Bappa, which was a gold Bappa. We got him 20 years ago. And every time we used to finish Ganesha Turti and then after Ganpati Vistach.
01:59And my mother used to keep him for one and a half days. We used to put him in a little jewelry box and used to go back to the locker.
02:06So, that is how it was. And now in my house, my mom said that, you know, you do this together alongside your Ganpati Bappa. So, my Ganpati Bappa also is eco-friendly and is made of mud.
02:16So, it's easily dissolvable.
02:18It's easily dissolvable. It's not that harmful to the environment. And I believe in, I mean, I can't preach and tell people. I do advocate it.
02:27But I think it has to first start from yourself. Charity begins at home.
02:31So, I was just talking to your daughter. She's very lovely. We had a lovely chat.
02:37Okay, oh god.
02:38Yeah, yeah, yeah. We had quite a meaningful chat that I'm not telling you about what we spoke about.
02:45But I want to ask you something. Is there any specific tradition, any ritual that you've sort of like followed this year or that you want to like pass it on to her?
02:57Yeah, the first thing that, the only thing that I actually tell her to do is, when she wakes up in the morning and she's about to go to school after of course she's showered and everything.
03:06She, in the house mandir, she, you know, pays her tribute and respect to, I call it the Jai Jai moment.
03:14And yeah, I say, finish your Jai Jai and then go to school. So, she has to do that because she needs to understand that the first thing you do is to show gratitude to the Almighty and to pay your respects before you leave the house.
03:32So, you brought Bapa home for I think three days this time, right? Yes.
03:36But do you also go to your friends? How many industry specific friends sit at your people's house you'd love to visit during this time?
03:42Honestly, there are a lot of people I'd like to visit but most of them have Bapa for one and a half days. So, I don't get out.
03:49But who are you visiting this time?
03:50How much is that?
03:51This year, I think I might be going to Ekta's because she has, yeah, she has. I have for three days and I think she has for 10 days.
03:57Oh, wow.
03:58I think so.
03:59Yeah, sure.
04:00I'll be, yeah.
04:01Okay. And tell me about one more thing. How much does, you know, like we've seen you come from modelling and then, you know, you've done films and there's been a bit of a sabbatical I would say that you've taken here and there. When can we see you back?
04:19Oh, miss you on screen.
04:21I know, I miss myself too. There was a lot of things that I was doing and then sometimes it's so, it's good, you know, when you're away and people miss you. It's nice. I like that feeling.
04:30Than for people to say, yaar, kitne film hai, kitna pakayega, kitna pakayegi chalia. Now people on the CV is nice. It's a great feeling and yes, I'm coming back.
04:39Yes, I mean, I was never gone to come back. I was doing a lot of films.
04:43You were just smelling the roses.
04:44Probably I was. I was doing other things in other fields. I mean, this is not the only thing that I'm doing, sweetheart. There's a lot many more things.
04:52I know you've taken up entrepreneurship as well.
04:54Yes, yes. I'm investing in a lot of startups and yeah, absolutely. There's something that I'm doing on the well-being, wellness zone as well. So there's a lot of other things that I'm doing. So I, between family and between South, I did some films in the South. I did some web series. I never really had the time. I was getting films.
05:22But not the kind that I wanted. You know, you've seen the roles that I've done. Yeah. It's only about me. Yeah. Krishna cottage. You remember the character.
05:32You remember the character. Every character that I've done. You remember the character. Yeah, everywhere. So I wanted to do something that was, you know, some, some, when you've done so much, that kind body of work, you, you want to get promoted.
05:47Hmm. The script should ring a bell in your head and you know, you should feel, you should expect to come back. Yeah, you will. I am looking at scripts. I am meeting people. I've got some fantastic response.
05:59And you know, lawmakers out there want to work with me and I feel so humbled. But, you know, in the midst of getting the right.
06:08Yeah. So are you only looking at the big screen projects? Or are you also open to doing more OTT projects as well? Because OTT has opened up space for a lot of people now.
06:17I know it has. But, it takes a long time for an OTT. You know, yeh permission, woh permission, yeh, woh set up, yeh karke. I think now films take lesser time. Okay.
06:28In some, yeah, strangely. But yes, having said that, of course, I'm open if something great comes along, of course. Yeah. Yes, yes, yes.
06:36We can expect. Yes, of course, you can expect. Yes, yes, yes. And, and now lastly, before we let you have your R3. Yes, please.
06:45I just want to ask you, if there was one specific message that you want to give to our audience, what would it be on this suspicious occasion?
06:53I would wish all of y'all good health, physical, mental, good, I mean, well-being and anything that you desire, everything that you want.
07:06May Bapa just remove all the obstacles from your life. May Bapa show you your path and may you all be happy and prosperous.
07:19Any specific mission you have this year? I don't know. I just don't know. I just pray to Bapa that I stay balanced, happy and fit in every sense.
07:32Yeah. Mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, in every way. And Bapa knows what I want. So, that's a secret.
07:39That's a secret not to tell. Maybe some other time that is going to unravel. But for now, we're going to leave her alone. We're going to have her time.
07:47And it was lovely chatting with you once again. Very, very, very happy. Ganesh, thank you to you. I hope we see you back on screen very, very soon.
07:56Very, very soon. Yes, yes, you will. And wish you all the love and luck in life.
08:00Thank you so much. God bless.
