00:54Yeah, no, talking about Bappa, so firstly, I want to wish you a very, very, very happy and aspicious Ganeshutwati to you.
01:01Thank you so much for inviting me to your lovely house.
01:06And firstly, first I want to ask you, you've been doing this tradition for almost 25 years, I believe.
01:12So what connects you to Ganpati so much?
01:16Yeah, I think I remember the first day I came to Mumbai, never knew I was single, so.
01:20And all I had was dreams in my eyes and I made a promise to myself that, you know, I will follow the path that Bappa showed me when I brought him home for the first time.
01:32And it's been almost 27, 28 years that Bappa is coming home and every single year has been special than the previous one.
01:38The path of changing life that Bappa showed me has been the most special phase of my life and I thank Bappa for this in the second of my life and I promise to continue, you know, on all this path.
01:54You promise?
01:55Yeah, of course.
01:56Yeah, I'm sure you're a man of your words, you know.
01:59But tell me one thing, I'm going to ask you a very fun thing.
02:02Do you and your wife do specially something together, curate something?
02:06I'm sure you must have prepared something eco-friendly only knowing the kind of person you are.
02:11So do you and your wife do something special together for the occasion?
02:14Yeah, we all there.
02:15I think, you know, she is in charge of taking care of the decoration, bringing Bappa, choosing Bappa home.
02:21So I think everyone is very responsible in making sure that it should be the most special 10-11 days of our life.
02:33Yeah, yeah.
02:34So recently, you also do a lot of humanitarian work, as I said, you know.
02:39So is it this path that you're following, like you said, like, you know, like recently you've also stepped in as a director for your upcoming film, Pateh, right?
02:48And you've also announced that you're going to donate all that to old age homes and orphanages.
02:53So how do you mix art with that?
02:57Where does that inspiration come from?
02:59You know, I think, like I said, you know, when we came here, we never knew a simple sort.
03:03And today when we are here, I think it's only because of Bappa's blessing.
03:07He's the one who has taught the craft, he's taught the way.
03:11And it's very important to give back to society, whatever you do well in life.
03:14And he's been a source of inspiration for the entire world.
03:20And today when I stand here, I can proudly say that he's not just been a vignatta, he's been a very important factor in my life.
03:28He taught me how to connect with a common man and change lives.
03:30Yeah.
03:31And before I wish you luck again, once again, I want to ask you, how does it feel to be stepping in the shoes of a director this time?
03:39Very special.
03:40I think it's a dream come true.
03:42All the things that we want to do as an actor, we couldn't do when we run out of the films.
03:46I think as a director, you can plan those things, write those things.
03:48And I think it's one of the most creative verticals of my life.

03:53I was an honor to actually meet you because I've heard so much about you.
03:58I've seen so much of your work, you know, as a real-life hero.
