01:00The committee was a great plan to be, by speaking of the project in a three-dimensional way,
01:02made top priority to ensure the quality in the rural housing construction.
01:04The meeting was held to the team through some,
01:05chief secretary of the North American community of the work of the career,
01:06officials of the public government orders in the county, buildings and farmers.
01:08The grassroots speech was different, and the previous policies were conveyed to me,
01:09the invisible laws of the license.
01:10The performance was given, and people danced to the memory of the music.
01:12Officials graduated agricultural workers on their moveway to new houses.

02:53In the architecture world, attention often gets captured on one new building is announced,
03:04most more readily as an entire central district than failed.
03:05But that is precisely what happened in late March 2025.
03:06The surprise of all of the international media, a sprawling development soon to contain
03:0850,000 resources, is now one phase away from completion, creating an entire new district
03:10in one scene by the blink of an eye.
03:11This will be used with a massive part of the world itself, but this is a new district
03:12in just any city.
03:13It's a new district in Pyongyang, capital of the most serious and isolated country on
03:14earth, North Korea.
03:15This is not something before, we'll travel to one of the least six more places on the
03:16map to examine the end of this colossal engineering project, as well as one cover the
03:18reason it's being built and wants to remain for North Korea's unique future.
03:19Not reasonable to be written on the complex history and current status of North Korea.
03:20Such prolific coverage has been confirmed with some of the outside view, it is as
03:23any matter as any country can imagine it be.
03:24But even here, in a nation, it must disclose, information lacks and rampant internal propaganda,
03:26familiar problems still exist.
03:27One such problem is housing.
03:28A study conducted in 21 by neighboring South Korea, concluded that in North Korea, households
03:29in 30 number of actual houses.
03:30This is a lot by saying that as much 30% of North Koreans have no way they are legally allowed
03:31to live.
03:32As public countries, roughly around the same time this study comes and generated yet more
03:34by international press, North Korea knows a bold new proposal.
03:35The country will build 50,000 new homes in next five years.
03:36All 50,000 new homes were planned for capacity of Pyongyang, and this alone caused any
03:38controversy.
03:39And the nature of the future was done and happened.
03:40In return, the past should be noted.
03:41We had made many roads and bridges, and we are even aware that many are the more
03:43that more festival we are in the country, to方面 of Cooling, for the late 3rd doctor
03:44in Korean, the first Niall, in the 4th of Korea, and the first Auswari, the first
03:49school of the King, was the first time in the 400th of Korea.
03:52Just one year later, the first 10,000 homes were already completed, in this trip as
03:53it was the first當初.
03:54This included a rest of the start with 83 floors, sounding near 1,000 feet tall, and
03:56became the second to the country.
03:59Less than one year after that, colorful celebrations took place on the streets of the
03:59城 of the Karazongan.
04:00This time the month, completion of 10,000 of workers in the Hossong district.
04:05It is also reported that, contrary to the impression some may have had when the project was announced, North Korea is also building more housing in mines and rural areas.
04:21This loud and proud announcement as the regime was appointed, international attention.
04:25However, the Supreme League has been disappointed by the climate change is now getting.
04:27So impressed by the speed and power of success of this project, experts have not been recorded in the way the regime looked at.
04:29Amongst a propaganda news so much, the country of journalists and others who have seen the country firsthand, it has much more about what may be really going on in the past of the streets and beyond.
04:32We have some problems, the state of the country and the planner of the state.
04:37Unfortunately, no doubt, the state of the state has the right.
04:40We have a long-term view, the right to the country and the territory has a lot of here.
04:44We have an important view.
04:46We have a lot of views.
04:48The 올inges of the country's original initialization is the most important thing.
04:52Our culture is the largest and vast majority of years.
04:54The target of the economy is the most important thing you want.
04:57These are the most important things in the country.
04:59It is important to represent North Korean leaders and the nation's success, but it
05:06is important to represent North Korean leaders and the nation's success, but it is often
05:09seen to be exact opposite, projecting areas to the outside world, which are from 1950
05:12into 1953.
05:13After the American plane struck 30,000 tons of bombs and nearly 30,000 tons of bombs,
05:16and 75% of billions of guns were destroyed, and some half a million people were left
05:18from this.
05:19The then leader came to some of that delegation monster in the summer of 1953, which led
05:21to the Soviet Union camp for spending all Korean deaths and the Koreans' defense to
05:23build the effort.
05:24The plans soon drawn up, including one group of us, one month's architecture, and the
05:26current public spaces, all of which reflect the Soviet side of the time.
05:28It was designed to maximize the display of the monuments, the long central axis.
05:29It's not terribly unusual to see, especially capital cities, the attention to the
05:30image of the outside world.
05:31But in the decades that followed, North Korea continued to take this stream, if not
05:32how it was unprecedented, let us.
05:33A huge number of people in most noble constructions, for example, the Summon's original arch
05:35triumph, built in 1982, are explicit representations of self-aligned resistance.
05:36Public spaces and virtual spaces alike, are designed to the stakes of the elements, while
05:38impressive statues and monuments, are placed seemingly everywhere, as a way of reinforcing
05:39the omnipresentation.
05:40Perhaps most alarmingly, images of leaders are not just placed throughout the spaces, they
05:42also mandate inside the presence.
05:43That's right, if authorities discover you aren't taking pictures of the sun and
05:44children in your house, or if they find pictures of the sea, or if you fail the
05:45rescue of the house of bone down, you can find or be thrown in jail.
05:46This is just how seriously the regime takes its symbolism and propaganda.
05:47Something else often overlooked about North Korea that can be hard for us to imagine,
05:48is that states also control over who lives where.
05:49In general, Cheongyang is made up of people being loyal to regime, because that to the
05:52regime allows us there, and more or less, the more loyal and more intangible to regime
05:54someone is, the more bad off their lifestyle.
05:55Independent analysis has to be shown that the North Korean government uses a gun and is
05:56absolute control over housing, the political gain.
05:57Could this be why all 50,000 universities have been built inside the capacity, and not
05:59elsewhere?
06:00There's not a lot of communication behind the project that the regime hasn't been
06:01missed to, sanctions.
06:02In 2006, North Korea's significantly increased concerns as already existed outside its borders, when
06:03completed its first successful new test.
06:04The United Nations Security Council responded by imposing serious trade restrictions, financial
06:05sanctions, and maritime and aviation controls, all aimed at losing North Korea's ability to
06:07develop a new program.
06:08The United States and other countries have imposed additional sanctions on top.
06:09Unfortunately, few analysts from sanctions have had a slight effect.
06:10North Korea has been very effective as vain sanctions through realistic trade networks,
06:12cyber attacks, and the use of China for its smokers.
06:13It's also received continued support from Russia and China, despite both China being part
06:14of the UN Security Council.
06:15That said, North Korea is still really economically, and amid the UN initiatives, the motivation
06:16for large scale domestic projects is that much higher.
06:18By mobilizing domestic resources and labor, building 50,000 new homes on such an ambitious time
06:19scale can infeure the economy without relying on foreign assistance.
06:21Also, completing such an exhibition with projects does just stand the chance of impressing
06:33to me in a way of IL.
06:34For example, in Hoa Song, essentially, during Priya to the storage building the fiend stories
06:35at the wider UN, reaching 2 segments out of 10,000 units apart from compliance.
06:37By the capacity itself, this seems to be something about sharpice that makes for a dramatic
06:39photograph.
06:40But what the residents' inside actually look like?
06:41Perhaps the number of time proposal is a broad claim that states through minimal work
06:42can be in serious and new instances.
06:43Both the outside of the world is rapidly financial financial.
06:44The same needs to send themselves in charge and instilling flying, flooding, and fictures.
06:45This would be a questionable policy even without the additional reports of
06:47BKC's and poor motion briefing.
06:48As with any open projects, we ultimately re-up assist this to find ourselves with nothing first due but
06:49設定's nature that hasn't ت rive idea.
06:50I'm going to take a look at this.
