Community rallies around police amid fatal ambush

00:00Over the past 24 hours, in response to the death of our colleagues in Paupunkah in North

00:05Eastern Victoria, the Warrnambool and District community have been so generous and thoughtful

00:11with their time, presence, condolences and gifts that they have left here.

00:19We want to thank them as a police complex from the bottom of our hearts.

00:24It is phenomenal what they have been delivering to us.

00:30We've just been overwhelmed with the response, obviously it's a tragedy, I know it's a long

00:38way from us but there's people here at the complex that knew some of the members involved

00:42so it touches it all, touches us all and it just reminds us that it could happen to any

00:47of us any particular day when we just go about our job.
