I forgot to mention that when I parted my hair in the front I gave it a u shape part for my shag wave curls. First I washed my hair with a mixture of 2 tbsp of shampoo, 4 tbsp. apple cider vinegar, and water. Poured over my hair in the shower for a good lather. Then rinse and went in with the deep conditioning and de-tangling process while hair is wet in the shower.Towel dried hair then twist in four sections. Make sure hair is not dripping wet and is moist and a little bit damped. I went to bed afterwards. In the morning when I woke up I made the protein treatment hair mask and applied it to my hair like how you would applying relaxer onto hair going in section by section and twisting the hair by sections to hold the locs. Leave in for about 1 hour if under the dryer you can leave in for 20 - 30 minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly to get all the natural food out of the hair from the mask that was applied. Go in with a conditioner or deep conditioner then rinse lightly out the conditioner from the hair. Towel dry the hair a little bit. We want the hair damp or you can use a water spray bottle to dampen hair when twisting it in locs. Place leave in conditioner and de-tangler in hair. Part hair in the front either in a U or V triangle shape going to your crown. Leave it out and tie it up for later to twist. Section the other parts of your hair and go in with your favorite curl creme, styling gel, and setting lotion all together to twist the hair in locs. Do the front portion of hair last and twist in locs coming down the face. Place setting lotion all over hair to lay down the locs. Get under the dryer or blow dry the locs with a hair blower to crisp the ends and leave a more laid down look. Wait 24 hours to undo or until hair is completely dry. Unravel locks with oils and serums. Don't forget to place oil on parts of the hair. I will show results after my shower!
