01:30Originally Bob sat down to do a pre-recorded interview with the local Las Vegas News.
01:36He would first appear under a shadow, and use the name Dennis, to protect his identity.
01:42Bob claimed to actually have worked at Area 51 for six months.
01:47His story garnered tons of attention once it aired.
01:51However, there was no face to the claims, so many just brushed it off.
01:56Bob would return for a follow-up interview a few months later.

02:04According to Robert, he chose to reveal himself to the world after receiving threats on his

02:11Being fully transparent, and now in the public eye telling his story, he felt it would
02:15provide him protection.
02:18Bob says he was a scientist hired by the US Navy to assist with development of rather unique
02:23aircraft.
02:25He had a background in jet engine propulsion, and this experience would be why he was selected.
02:31Suddenly he would be given a call in the middle of the night, and be instructed to rendezvous
02:35at a secret location.
02:38Bob claimed he would be picked up by a bus with blacked-out windows, and driven to a secret
02:42military base called S-4.
02:45And the site was very well guarded with armed military staff patrolling the area.

03:52The scientist says he felt it was unjust to keep this information from the people.
03:56Many Americans thought UFO believers were mentally unwell when stating they saw light zipping through the skies at night.
04:04Bob's story added more validity to the UFO conspiracy.
04:08But his reputation would be put in question when his background couldn't be verified fully.
04:14His work history, his schooling, and even his birth record seemingly was erased from existence.
04:21Some information, however, was able to be verified, despite what the record showed.
04:26These inconsistencies only added to his claim of it being a deliberate assassination on his character.
04:33Robert, feeling quite confident in his claims, took a polygraph test to prove he was telling the truth.
04:39The first polygraph results came back inconclusive, which the expert examiner chalked up to nervousness.
04:46But Bob would pass the second polygraph, in which he was asked if he saw an antigravity flying disk at S4.
04:53During his alleged employment with the government, Lazar took a few of his closest friends to view some test flights in the desert and they recorded the strange events.
05:03Over the years, the case has taken on a life of its own, from movies to television programs.
05:09The internet has even caused concern for the government with their Storm Area 51 plans.

05:40Many people believe that the U.S. government stores secrets about aliens and UFOs there.

05:49Lazar's story has remained consistent as the decades came and went.
05:53Some of his claims seem to even become more valid, such as element 115, which he actually referred to in his original story.

06:05How he detailed the craft's operating has even been displayed in recently released Navy footage.
06:12Suppose what we're used to, for instance, a plane.
06:15Once it's in the air, we envision thrust or some force coming out the back of it to push it forward.
06:21The crafts work completely opposite of that.
06:25What they do is once they're hovering in the air, they'll swing the two remaining gravity generators up in front of them
06:33and create a distortion, essentially a downhill.
06:37And the craft rolls downhill for infinity.

06:44That's why they look goofy when they fly around at low speed.
