Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, President Trump bemoaned the lives lost in the Russia-Ukraine War.

00:00And the one I thought would be easiest, frankly, was going to be Russia and Ukraine.
00:06But that turns out to be some big personality conflicts.
00:11It's one of those things.
00:12But we're going to get that stopped eventually.
00:14We're going to get that stopped too.
00:157,000 soldiers died last week.
00:18Think of that. 7,000.
00:19I usually say 5,000, but 7,221 soldiers died last week in the fight between Ukraine and Russia.
00:27And they're not our soldiers, but they're souls.
00:29They're living souls.
00:30And they leave their homes and they wave to their parents.
00:33And their parents are so proud as they leave in a beautiful uniform.
00:37And a week later, they get their head blown off by a drone.
00:41New form of military.
00:42It's a whole new form of fighting.
00:44So I would just like to thank the people that are behind me.
