00:00Ron would appreciate a better understanding of implementing a vegetarian diet.
00:06A man once said something to the effect,
00:11I do not want my body serving as a graveyard for chickens.
00:18So, may we conclude that one cannot eat anything that is non-living
00:25and that things are only edible if they contain life.
00:30Yes, if we are vegetarian then it is helpful for our spiritual progress.
00:37In any religion, every religion says don't hurt other living person.
00:47So, we are killing five senses that chicken is five senses.
00:55So, we should not hurt any living things.
00:59And our body, our teeth, our eating system, everything, our drinking system, everything is vegetarian.
01:09Non-vegetarian, you can observe their teeth are different, their drinking style is different, their stomach is different.
01:16So, our body is meant for vegetarian only.
01:19And we can understand, if something, if needle we are, or some blade is there and if we put on our hand,
01:29it doesn't feel good because we are having pain.
01:33So, when we are killing that chicken, too much pain to that chicken,
01:39that chicken is experiencing, I have too much pain, they are going to kill me, I don't want to die.
01:48They can experience.
01:49Only one sense, it is living thing, vegetables, beans, fruits, these are one sense.
02:01But, their development is very beginning stage.
02:07And five senses, they have developed from one sense to two sense, two to three sense.
02:11After so many lives, infinite lives, they are developed to four sense and then five sense.
02:16So, if we kill one sense, we are losing only, say, five dollar.
02:23And if we kill five senses, we are losing thousand dollar.
02:30Suppose, one five-floor rebuilding with full interior decoration, everything decorated, everything finished.
02:38And if we destroy that thing and we put only five bricks, we put and we will destroy five bricks.
02:45How much loss in five brick and five-floor rebuilding, is there any difference?
02:52So, here, one sense means five bricks only.
02:56And five sense means five-floor building with interior everything.
03:01So, when we kill five senses living creatures, two things we are losing.
03:09We are, demerit karma also we are charging, as well as the food, whatever goes in our body, that will make covering.
03:22So, our spiritual grasping will reduce.
03:27So, both ways we are losing.
03:30And that living thing will take revenge on us.
03:35Why you kill me, I will also kill you.
03:38So, revenge will be there.
03:39For one sense, very less responsibility.
03:43For five senses, it is too much responsibility.
03:44For five senses, it is too much responsibility.
