00:09He was recently invited to attend an inclusive housing event but couldn't get there because none of the flights were accessible to someone using a powered wheelchair.
00:19I was very angry because of the barrier and because I have had to turn down several work opportunities outside of Victoria.
00:27The irony of being unable to attend an accessibility event due to inaccessible transport isn't lost on him.

01:29So the burden isn't on people with disability to make a complaint after the discrimination has already happened.
01:35The Federal Government and airlines say they are committed to ensuring air travel is safe and accessible for all Australians.
01:42They'll finalise the new standards next year.
01:45That can't come soon enough for passengers with disability who have long called for change.
