00:00When you look at the legends that are already in the Australia Sport Hall of Fame,
00:05it's something that I never ever thought of.
00:07When you start out as a kid playing, these types of things are far removed.
00:13And to have this honour, to be recognised in this way was completely unexpected,
00:17but just incredibly grateful.
00:19Right now, it doesn't seem real.
00:22You look at those legends and think, hang on a second,
00:24I shouldn't be spoken about in the same conversation as these superstars.
00:29My boyhood dreams were all about playing for Australia,
00:32and to do that and have the rare opportunity to compete at five Olympics
00:36is something that is really special to me.
00:39In 2000, when I was given the honour of being the captain of the Australian Olympic team
00:45and the flag bearer at the 2000 Olympics, that moment was incredibly special.
00:51It's a big trophy. A lot of wine will fit in this.
00:54But no, it's just such an honour to join such an illustrious group of Australian athletes.
01:00Whenever you are able to contribute to your team,
01:02whether it's through leadership or through the quiz of that,
01:06it's just those moments where it all comes together and you achieve something together,
01:09that's really what sticks in my mind.
01:11It's a bit unreal. I think it's just difficult for it to land at the moment,
01:15but I've instructed the family to call me legend from now on in,
01:19but I don't think they'll pay attention.
