00:08So the mayor of Chicago, I watched him this morning. He said, Trump doesn't know what he's talking about. He only apprehended nine people.

00:16Well, number one, that's false. Literally, it's thousands who get into that.

00:21But more importantly than anything, we took guns away. We have some of the worst career professionals out of the country already.

00:28They've been taken out of the country. And some are in solid confinement because these were killers.

00:34We arrested some very bad people. And in the last 11 days, again, I hate to say it because it sounds so ridiculous.

00:41But in the last 11 days, we've had no murders. And that's the first time that's taken place in years, actually years.

00:50We always have a murder a week. They call it a murder a week. You come here from Iowa. You come here from Indiana.

00:55You come here from Idaho because you're so proud of your country. You love your country.

01:00And then you get murdered. Your son gets murdered. Your daughter gets murdered.

01:03You get murdered. See the media. You get murdered.

01:05Many of you have been mugged in Washington. You just don't want to talk about it.

01:09And I know that every time I do this with you, you almost everything.

01:14But every time I do this with you, people will say to yourselves, he's right, he's right.

01:19And then you write a negative story. But we are doing an incredible job.

01:23The people behind me are amazing. We're working very well with the Washington police, as you know.

01:29The D.C. National Guard is unbelievable. We're also getting tremendous help from Secret Service.

01:35And we are at a point where Washington is booming again.

01:41People are pouring in like we haven't seen for years.

01:45You really want to be asked to go.

01:47You know, I hate to barge in on a city and then be treated horribly by corrupt politicians and bad politicians,

01:53like a guy like Pritzker. He ought to spend more time in the gym, actually.

01:59This guy is a disaster. Gavin Newsom is a disaster.

02:02When we went, we saved Los Angeles. You wouldn't have been able to have the Olympics in Los Angeles.

02:07You're barely able to have it now. They did lose 25,000 houses to a fire that should have never occurred.

02:12I think the Democrats better get smart. And, you know, politically, I hope they don't.

02:16But actually, in terms of love for the country, I hope they do, because it would be good to work together.

02:22So I'm thinking about, you know, when I have some slob like Pritzker criticizing us before we even go there,

02:28I made the statement that next should be Chicago.

02:30Because, as you all know, Chicago is a killing field right now.

02:34And they don't acknowledge it.

02:36And they say, we don't need him. Freedom, freedom.

02:38He's a dictator. He's a dictator.

02:40A lot of people are saying, maybe we like a dictator.

02:43I don't like a dictator. I'm not a dictator.

02:46I'm a man with great common sense and a smart person.

02:49And when I see what's happening to our cities, and then you send in troops, instead of being praised,

02:56they're saying, you're trying to take over the republic.

03:00These people are sick.

03:01But I'm really saying, and I say this to all of you, in a certain way, we should wait to be asked.

03:08Because they have cities that are so under control, you know, out of control.

03:11So we go in and fix it.

03:12They take the full credit for it.

03:14And they go out and say, I heard it this morning.

03:16They're saying how well they've done over the last 10-day period.

03:20What this executive order does, it charges your attorney general.
