00:00One bad baseball team today, technically the Minnesota Twins,
00:03but there is still some value on those Twins down the stretch,
00:05taking on Toronto and Max Scherzer north of the border.
00:08Seven and a half to eights across the border as a total favorite here towards Toronto.
00:12Tom, how are we figuring out Ryan versus Scherzer today?
00:16I'm looking at this game as an under, and both pitchers have been super solid,
00:22especially as of late.
00:23You know, the Twins traded away everyone,
00:25but they still have some decent hitters in their lineup,
00:28and realistically, Joe Ryan has been awesome.
00:30So I'm looking at this game as under eight.
00:32I, you know, I can, I contemplated, you know, under in the first five,
00:36just because I think that the pitchers will be there.
00:38The Twins' bullpen is pretty terrible when it's all said and done,
00:40but the Blue Jays still have some hitters.
00:42Scherzer has been super solid over his last stretch of games.
00:45He's getting into that sixth, that seventh inning.
00:47The strikeouts may not be the same thing as they once were years ago,
00:50but you give me two solid pitchers, I see this as a spot for the,
00:53A, the Blue Jays to bounce back.
00:55I don't love the money line today, but really, first five under,
00:57full game under, and then the Blue Jays in game at a better price than minus
01:01142 or wherever they are now.
01:05Well, it's yesterday crazy that McGill blows the game with two outs in the
01:11ninth inning for the Milwaukee Brewers.
01:13The Giants actually figured out a way to score runs again, go figure.
01:17But now they got Woodruff looking to bounce back after his loss to the Cubs,
01:22and it's Arizona, who, well, Cincinnati finally figured out how to beat yesterday.
01:29But in Milwaukee, is it a bounce back spot here, or what are we looking at?
01:33I think it has to be, and the money line's obviously pretty heavy,
01:37and there are a few teams today that are pretty heavy.
01:40So I would go about it in terms of looking at the Brewers' team total,
01:43which is four and a half.
01:44I'd like that to be over.
01:45For Eron, Eduardo Rodriguez, pitcher on today's slate, he's, A, the worst pitcher
01:50since July 1st, at least on today's slate, when it comes to XFIP.
01:53He's in the bottom five when it comes to ERA overall.
01:56The Mariners, excuse me, the Milwaukee Brewers, they are top 10 in the league
02:01in both Woba and WRC Plus versus lefties.
02:04The Arizona Bullpen is bottom five in the league in ERA overall.
02:08This just sets up for a spot for the Brewers to get back on track.
02:11I know their recent stretch of games seems okay-ish to bad,
02:15considering when they were 14-0, 15-0, but they're still a good team.
02:19They have the advantage at home, and I will take a spot against
02:22the Arizona Bullpen time and time again.
