00:00Angels, Rangers tonight. Maybe a last stand for the Texas Rangers. They try to get some things
00:05together late in the month of August and carry that momentum into September. They're going to
00:09take on the Los Angeles Angels today. Soriano's on the mound. Maybe the best of the bunch there
00:13for the Angels going up against Jacob deGrom. Heavy favorite for the Rangers, as expected,
00:17a modest 180 overnight. Still sitting around that range now. 174s, 182s, 180s, 168s in the
00:24betting landscape right now. And a total, Joe, that's listed at seven and a half. Can we get
00:30something out of the Texas Rangers? Too talented to be this way and not competing for that division?
00:36Can they climb back up or is it just a formality? You are what your record says you are. You had
00:40multiple chances to do it. You haven't done it yet. Why would you do it now? Well, I mean,
00:45the good news is they have deGrom back, right? He is good to go here tonight. They skipped his
00:52last schedule spot because the last couple of starts for him have not been great. So a little
00:58extra rest here. They're coming off a sweep of the Guardians at home, Donnie, in three games and 21
01:05innings. I think one run, I think they've given up. So all of a sudden, the pitching has shown up for
01:12the Rangers. The bats are there. They won at, what, 10-0 a couple of nights ago. And if they continue
01:19that at home, there should be no reason that deGrom has any issues against this Angels lineup
01:25here. I like Texas to get it done. I'm looking to back deGrom here after a week off. Should be good
01:32to go.
