00:00You
02:00In response to your inquiry, I've made arrangements for you to come visit my vineyard to further your wine studies.
02:06I believe you'll find in your weekend here that biodynamic winemaking isn't a crock of shit that your younger colleagues make it out to be.
02:18It is rooted firmly in tradition and the cosmic forces that make up our natural world have given us a gift.
02:27It's here that I make the best wine in the world.
02:57You know, it's so nice to finally meet you.
03:06Oh, the pleasure is mine.
03:08Oh, well, let's get your stuff here.
03:10Oh, no, it's really, it's quite all right.
03:13No, no, you've had a long drive here.
03:15I gave you a hand.
03:16No, really, I insist.
03:17Well, I'd like to show you.
03:23Oh, wow.
03:47You, uh, you butcher your meat, too?
03:51Of course.
03:51We aren't like you city folks.
03:53We want to get something done.
03:55You have to do it for yourself.
03:57It's just that I didn't see many animals outside.
03:59Huh?
03:59Is that 502?
04:03Yes, that's fresh yellow flowers.
04:05You've studied well, Miss Ellis.
04:08And I'm sure you'll recognize the rest of these things here.
04:11It's one thing to read about it, but it's an entirely different thing to see it, you know?
04:16Hmm.
04:18We'll use this, won't we?
04:24That one or another one?
04:26Uh...
04:27Hope you're ready to get your hands dirty.
04:32When do we start?
04:34Oh, we already have.
04:47Seems rather ominous, don't you think?
04:54Do these organs trouble you?
04:57Uh, no.
04:59It's...
04:59I...
05:00I just don't know what they do yet.
05:04I can assure you, Miss Ellis, my methods are not without purpose.
05:09In time, they will allow you to be one with nature, one with the vines.
05:14It's just that I don't understand how burying a bladder or a skull can influence a wine.
05:20Do you mean 505?
05:26Yes.
05:26Um...
05:27Burying ground-fermented bark inside the skull of a domestic animal.
05:33It restores order to the ether body.
05:36The ether body?
05:40Miss Ellis, in time, you will understand, but for now, we dig.
05:51We dig.
05:52We dig.
05:52You don't believe in what I'm trying to do here, do you?
06:00I admit, I don't understand biodynamism.
06:09Mm-hmm.
06:10It feels like sorcery to me.
06:13Stuffing a bladder with yarrow and intestines and skulls.
06:22I don't know, I'm just a woman of science, you know.
06:27Mm-hmm.
06:30You tell me what I'm around, too.
06:32Wine-making voodoo is responsible for this.
06:37Do I believe?
06:41You want to know?
06:44If biodynamics is all about nature, show me.
06:48What's the difference between this and regular wine-making?
06:50Because I believe nature must be molded to our desires.
06:53I know my methods are unconventional.
06:56They're more than unconventional, you know.
06:58Other winemakers think you're insane.
07:00Maybe I am, but they will never be able to do what I can do.
07:11Perfect wine is evocative, it's passionate, and it's art.
07:19It can bring you back to a moment in your life
07:21that you never thought you'd experience again.
07:28Truly great wine can make you a different person.
07:34Let me show you.
07:37Stay with me.
07:38Nice.
07:39What?
07:59energía zab О'
08:02I don't know.
08:32What's in the barn?
08:56Oh, that's where we keep all the manure.
08:58You don't want to go in there.
09:00We knew her, but there aren't any cows.
09:06Okay, well, we're done.
09:11You bury it.
09:19I don't know.

11:40It's a very, very special wine.
11:46I didn't know you had a daughter.
11:50She, um...
11:54She...
11:55I'm so sorry.
12:03Her legacy will live on forever.
12:16Um, do you have any children, Ms. Ellis?
12:20Uh, yes.
12:25I did.
12:27Once.
12:29Um, I had a daughter, too, actually.
12:33What happened?
12:38Uh...
12:39An accident.
12:41I-I-I see you.
12:44I didn't stop.
12:49Dude...
12:50Where's her father?
12:53He left.
12:56Just like everyone else.
12:59Who blamed me.
13:03And those who stayed, I pushed away.
13:05This is all I have left now.
13:13A fun hobby.
13:16Possibly an unhealthy obsession.
13:23Yeah.
13:24Um, may I ask about your daughter?

15:20All right.
15:26You know, what's going on?
15:28It's wondering why are the grapes going?
15:31It's wondering. What's going on?
15:36Let me show you.
15:43What's going on?
15:45What's going on?
15:47I want to go back to the back.
