00:00My name is Yara Milbis. I am the VP of Global Marketing at Lucidia.
00:10Hi, my name is Basma Al-Badi. I head the value creation team at Hub 71.
00:18My name is Anna Rosvandowicz. I'm the founder and CEO of the Story Lab.
00:26I basically drive growth, brand and customer engagement strategies across the region and beyond.
00:31Lucidia enables governments, big enterprises and SMBs to unlock the power of AI-enabled customer experience.
00:39As the head of value creation, what I do is basically bringing in and bridging the gap between the various stakeholders
00:46from capital partners to corporates to government entities and academia,
00:52all together to foster the tech ecosystem of Al-Badi.
00:56And the StoryMob is a communications consultancy focusing on gaming culture and sports.
01:01First of all, it's an incredible honor, but it's also a huge responsibility
01:11because to be named as a woman of influence is to use your voice actively and intentionally
01:15to shift conversations and make space for other women in rooms
01:19where female representation is necessarily or unnecessarily underestimated.
01:26And to have a seat at the table means that other women can and should want to be here.
01:31And it's our duty collectively to hold the door open and not just walk through it.
01:35It's not about the title for me.
01:37It's not about being, it's having an influence in terms of having a ripple effect
01:43on the impact that you can have on people.
01:45And I think that's the most influence that anyone can do to anyone in life.
01:50For me, it's about the impact it makes on women and girls around the world
01:54who see 30 women of influence featured in a magazine on the cover
01:58and they're all doing really good stuff.
02:00They're CEOs, they're executives, they're founders, they're going places,
02:03they're launching products, they're making money.
02:05I want them to look at that and feel like,
02:07hey, this is something I also can do and also something I want to do
02:10and aspire to that and I don't want any girl, no girl,
02:14I want no girl in this world to ever feel like she cannot accomplish something
02:17because she's a girl.
02:26My message for women is a bit of a controversy but also a no-brainer.
02:30Just don't ask for permission.
02:32Speak up, raise your hand, take the leap.
02:34Success favours the brave.
02:36Half the story is already female, so you belong.
02:39Act like you belong and be compelling and do all this to yourself
02:42and to the women that are going to come after you.
02:44My advice would be to value yourself.
02:47Build out of your experience, your network.
02:50It will get you somewhere that you never thought it would be possible
02:53and go for it.
02:55Try to surround yourself with people who inspire you.
02:57Try to surround yourself with people who have achieved what you want to achieve.
03:01If you want to be in a leadership position at a top national company,
03:05try to find your ways there.
03:08If you can, find yourself mentors
03:10and if you can, develop really good relationships
03:12with senior people around you.
03:14If you want to be an A player, you have to surround yourself with A players.
03:16See you later.
03:21Bye.
03:24Bye.
03:32Bye.
