US National Guard units begin carrying weapons in Washington

The move comes after Trump deployed hundreds of troops to the US capital in what he portrayed as a crime crackdown.

00:00Some National Guard units patrolling Washington at the direction of U.S. President Donald Trump
00:08have now started carrying firearms.
