The ACT's hybrid-electric fire truck has had to be taken off the road because of charging problems.

00:00The electric fire truck is currently off the road.

00:04The people from Rosenbau and our technicians are working their way through

00:08trying to determine the exact cause of the operating issue with the electric truck.

00:12The electric fire truck was in operations for a shortish period of time

00:16and attended all sorts of incidents from structure fires through to

00:20car accidents, medical assists and automatic fire alarms.

00:24But there is a problem to do with the charging system and that's as much as I know about it.

00:28As I said, the Rosenbau technicians and our ESA mechanics

00:32are working through the issue to determine the exact cause

00:36and then fix the issue and get it back into service as soon as we can.
