00:00Look at this game, 9-13, 9-14.
00:02Houston sending out, excuse me, Arrighetti to the mound today.
00:05And then Rodgers, the lefty for Baltimore.
00:08Where do you get to his numbers here?
00:099-13, 9-14 on the rotation of 135 start.
00:12Favorite overnight for Baltimore, Tom.
00:13Minus 150s, they're gone.
00:15Minus 135s, minus 140s now across the betting landscape.
00:18And a total that went up from 8.5 to 9s across the board.
00:21Is today the day like Rodgers gets beat up?
00:24Rodgers doesn't ever get beat up.
00:25Tom, his ERA minus is a 28.
00:28An ERA of 1.16 and a very comparable XFIP and Sierra.
00:32Why is this guy so good this year?
00:34What are we missing?
00:35So I talk about Rodgers.
00:38I don't know if it was with you or when I was hosting game time decisions last week.
00:42You know, his ERA is, you know, under 2.
00:45And his XFIP, since July 1st, at least that I'm saying, is 3.32.
00:49So he is technically and factually overproducing by 2 runs.
00:54Like he should be regressing.
00:55But a 3.32 XFIP is still awesome at the end.
01:00So Rodgers, when you're looking at him, he has a 50% ground ball rate combined with a 42.3% medium contact rate.
01:10So he keeps the ball down.
01:11There's no fly balls.
01:13There's no hard contacts.
01:14His strikeouts are good enough.
01:16So at the end of the day, even when, if you were to get beat, it's not going to be by the long ball.
01:21It's just going to be a single or a double here.
01:23Maybe some runs get across the board.
01:25Today's matchup is really tough because the Astros have been hitting a lot recently.
01:29But Eric Getty is terrible, Donnie.
01:31Since he has come back, one of the worst, and one of the worst pitchers on today's slate overall.
01:35And I have a ton of interest in the Orioles hitters today.
01:37So let's get started.
