00:00Final time this weekend, MX2, race 2, to determine the winner of this MXGP of the Netherlands here at Arnhem.
00:11Race number 1, the foxhole shop went to Sacha Coonan for the 13th time this year.
00:16He gets another good jump, he gets squeezed on the exit by Evertz and Adamo,
00:22as Camden McLellan tries to get around the outside, but it's going to be Adamo.
00:26Adamo over the foxhole shop line for the 6th time this year.
00:31He leads away from Evertz, McLellan with a fantastic start, 3rd.
00:35Elzinger and DeWolf line astern, side by side, they're 4th and 5th, but quickly into the lead.
00:43Evertz leads the way, and DeWolf up into 4th, where, oh and he loses the lead, loses that 2nd position.
00:53Camden McLellan and DeWolf both go by, somehow manages to find his way back past the number 1.
01:00Where is Langefelder, he's back in last place.
01:05Don't tell me he's had another issue at turn 1.
01:12DeWolf around the outside of Adamo, moves into 3rd, goes after Evertz and Camden McLellan.
01:18On this opening lap, DeWolf on the number 1 in 3rd place.
01:21A brutal racetrack.
01:30They've fixed up some of the parts of the racetrack over here, during the break.
01:35Only some of the corners though, look at the holes, bottomless, as always, around this Arnhem circuit.
01:41Here is Langefelder, and this is why he is circulating in 21st position as Jens Walvoort goes down.
01:52Causing problems for Langefelder there.
01:55Sounds like DeWolf has found his way past McLellan, in the meantime.
02:01Watch this.
02:02Just holding the inside line, and then tips over.
02:07Over on that far side, him and Volk.
02:14And Latter.
02:15He can't believe his luck.
02:17Wow.
02:18So, Evertz leads.
02:27McLellan 2nd, DeWolf 3rd, Adamo 4th, Langefelder having to play catch-up again.
02:34Qualifying race, broken wheel, coming out of first turn, with a collision with somebody else.
02:38Race 2, a poor start, having to work his way through, fell on the final lap.
02:42A start crash.
02:43In the second race today.
02:50McLellan, leading the way.
02:52He's found his way, ahead of Evans.
02:57And DeWolf goes past him as well, moves into 2nd position.
03:08Adamo now 4th.
03:09Matis Valat in 5th.
03:10Sasha Koon in 6th.
03:12Kai Karsmaker's coming in to view any moment now.
03:14Or he was.
03:16In 7th place, just behind.
03:18Sasha Koon in.
03:19Elzinger, Ferez and Olivier running out in top 10.
03:21Langefelder up to 17.
03:30This was McLellan finding his way into the lead, just at the start of the lap look.
03:34And by the time we got to turn 7, a couple of corners later, DeWolf was also into 2nd place, with a move on Everts.
03:43Bragging rights between these two buddies, starting to pull clear of Everts in blue.
03:53Everts there in 3rd.
03:54There's Adamo 4th.
03:56Throw the flag out now.
03:57Your podium is DeWolf on 47, McClellan 41, Everts 38, Adamo 38, Sasha Koonin 38.
04:04Captain McLellan, quickest on that opening lap.
04:151.48, 7.84.
04:19DeWolf was in the 1.50s, as he tried to find his way past Everts.
04:23Over the line we go.
04:26Adamo 4th.
04:28I was going to say leaning on, but leaning a little bit too much.
04:31As he looked like he tucked the front, right where he didn't need to.
04:34Oh, Sasha Koonin bouncing his way through that wave section.
04:44Side by side, at the end of the straight, Adamo goes long, continues his run around the outside,
04:50but has to yield to Everts in this battle for 3rd place.
04:56A 2nd separates McClellan and DeWolf, heading in the opposite direction.
05:01There you see, middle of the screen.
05:03Then you've got 2nd and 3rd, Adamo looking to get alongside Everts here.
05:08Gets down the inside, finds his way past the Belgian, and jumps long.
05:12You can do that now in that turn.
05:14Adamo now up in the 3rd.
05:20Langenfelder up to 14th, just behind Timo Veniston.
05:32This is the gap between 1st and 2nd.
05:35Nothing in it.
05:37Captain McClellan, lead of the way for Monster Energy Triumph.
05:41He was 5th in race 1, he's eyeing up the 2nd step of the podium as it stands right now.
05:45Andreo Damo is now 3rd in that podium chase, with 2nd 3rd place finishes if he stays where he is.
05:55Here's Sasha Coonan.
05:58And Everts, Coonan now up to 4th, Everts down to 5th.
06:02McClellan was the fastest on the previous lap.
06:13DeWolf quicker than him this time around, but no fast laps recorded.
06:18Race 1, the Jermis fastest lap was Sasha Coonan on lap 4, 1.46, 7.74.
06:24Will there be another fast lap in the early stages of race 2?
06:28This is Coonan at the inside of Everts.
06:31That was the move into 4th place.
06:38McClellan got his first and only race win in MX2.
06:43In the opening race at Trentino, round 5.
06:50He knows he's dealing with probably one of the best sand riders in the world, certainly.
06:55In MX2, at the very least.
06:57But no slouch in the sand himself, McClellan.
07:09Can he keep a cool, calm head?
07:12Yes, he prefers the Sandier conditions.
07:16Got a podium, 2nd overall on 2 occasions this year.
07:20Sardinia in the deep sand, Lommel in the deep sand a couple of rounds ago.
07:23He's definitely on course for a podium, but the question is, which step will he be viewing from today?
07:35Because if DeWolf finds his way by, take away three points from Cameron McClellan, 25, 22.
07:43The points gap between first and second.
07:47Keep going, no fear, that's the message.
07:51Set up, I'm assuming that's set him up for the pass, rather than follow.
07:55Four laps complete.
07:59McClellan continues to lead.
08:05These two now, nearly four seconds clear of Andrea Adamo, who's still circulating in third place.
08:11Oh, here goes DeWolf, down the back straight.
08:16Oh, sublime.
08:19Where did that come from?
08:22Absolutely on one wheel, all the way down the straight, even onto the face of the jump.
08:27And stayed on the back wheel, the other side, where the pass was complete.
08:32DeWolf leads on lap five.
08:34Watch this here, he's on the back wheel, here, right the way through, there, look, all the way across.
08:44And then quickly back onto the rear wheel as well, before the end of the straight.
08:50DeWolf leads then, McClellan second.
08:54That's going to put Adamo second overall.
08:56And Coonan third, McClellan fourth.
08:59That's how crucial that pass was, in terms of whether McClellan would be on the podium or not.
09:10So the two KTMs then,
09:13charging through that sweeping turn, that turn 14.
09:21Andrea Adamo believes he can still win this championship in 2025.
09:26Don't forget, we still have three rounds to go after this round here in the Netherlands at Arnhem.
09:33In two weeks we go to Turkey, a hardpack track.
09:37China, a new venue, not too far away from where we were previously.
09:43And Australia, no one knows.
09:45Maybe it's a little bit sandy, maybe a little bit hardpacking sandy.
09:48Differing reports coming through about that place, but
09:51same for everybody when we go to the final two rounds.
09:59In terms of circuit conditions, heat, humidity.
10:02That's a fantastic start to the race for the number 80 of Andrea Adamo.
10:11It's the sixth Vauxhall shot.
10:13Gate number one over on the left-hand side.
10:16The right as we look down.
10:17Langenfeld trying to get across again from the middle.
10:20Just leaning, it's one way around the outside there, just behind the 99 of Ferreres.
10:23He gets into a tangle with Vauxhall and Latter.
10:33Keep your eye on Latter as well to the outside.
10:36He's about to go down and Vauxhall tips over as well.
10:39And getting caught in the back of that was Langenfelder as Adamo bagged himself a foxhole shot.
10:53Still there third, about four seconds behind Captain McClelland.
10:57So McClelland needs to find his way back past Kydy Wolfe.
11:06If he is to land on the podium here this weekend.
11:12Or he needs a mistake from either Adamo or Sasha Kuhner just to be able to pull a couple of points back.
11:18But both, the Red Bull KTMs are riding very, very well in third and fourth place.
11:23Adamo and the 19 of Sasha Kuhner.
11:29Be a nice birthday present for Adria Adamo.
11:36Both riders deep there in that right-hander.
11:40Get stood up mid-turn.
11:44Pace is relentless, isn't it?
11:45So, too, the circuit, the bumps, holes, just hitting everything, slamming it into everything.
11:51Even harder physically for the number 19.
11:55So, this is a fantastic performance all by itself.
12:01Doesn't have the same kind of leverage to work with when the bike starts taking him for a ride.
12:05Everts, about six seconds further back.
12:14Still circulating in fifth place.
12:20Then Velland about four seconds further back.
12:22Then Carsmakers on the bike at Karateki.
12:24Verez, Eltsinger and Langenfelder up to tenth.
12:29Langenfelder going to be leaving here ninth overall.
12:31Stands right now.
12:32Still got 18 minutes plus two laps to go, though, or thereabouts.
12:39Ten points, the gap now, between first and second.
12:42At the top of the championship.
12:44Langenfelder on 778, DeWolf on 768.
12:5330-point swing in favour of DeWolf.
12:57Talk about game on.
13:04We knew.
13:05Oh, we've got yellows.
13:07End of the waves.
13:07Who's down?
13:10Velland!
13:11He's gone down!
13:12He's gone down hard as well.
13:15And ironically, he was following Langenfelder through that part of the track when Langenfelder ejected himself out the side door and into the fence on the last lap of race one.
13:23So Velland then out of sixth place.
13:29Slow to get back up.
13:31Hopefully the KRT rider is okay and can resume.
13:35Picks himself up, does rejoin the race.
13:38He'll be riding bullet, though, for the entire duration of the moto now.
13:43The race, 16 and a half minutes without a visor.
13:45Elzinger over the line gets promoted to seventh.
13:54So Karsmaker's the recipient of that sixth place.
13:57Elzinger there, seven.
13:58Ferez, eight.
14:00Langenfelder, he will also gain a point and a position at the expense of the Frenchman.
14:06But he's still three seconds behind these guys here.
14:10Elzinger doing his best to hang on to that seventh place as Ferez breathes down his neck.
14:15Less than a second between Kyder Wolfe and Camden McClellan.
14:21Has he lost time in sector two?
14:2326-6, 26-9.
14:27McClellan just picking up the pace here because he gets about four tenths in their first sector.
14:31Another three.
14:33So three quarters of a second overall so far.
14:38Camden McClellan has probably had the pit board to say you need the pass for the podium.
14:43Latter up to 12, Wolvoort up to 13, Volk 14.
14:47Valand down to 15th then after that crash from sixth position.
14:55Which is also the position that Langenfelder was when he fell.
14:58Same place in race one.
15:02Good push this for Camden McClellan.
15:04The boys down there, that Monster Energy Triumph will be pleased with this effort from the number eight.
15:13How much of this is down to Wolfe maybe blowing himself out in race one.
15:18Tough qualifying race, tough first race.
15:20He looked okay when he came in at the end of the race.
15:22Didn't look tired but...
15:24Maybe it was just overall the space of the lap, I can say.
15:32Six tenths in sector one, two or three in sector two, another half a second in sector three, another tenth in the final sector.
15:38Langenfelder finding his way past Ferez right at the end of the lap to move into eighth.
15:45Ferez coming back after the German though.
15:52Gets alongside him.
15:56German goes around the outside.
15:59Ferez.
15:59Does he make the pass stick?
16:02Oh, he caught a horrible hole there in the breaking zone.
16:07And then the rider on the Kawasaki in red and blue, Kai Karsmakers,
16:10was right where Langenfelder needed to be when he came into land because he came in hot, had to go the long way around.
16:15Gaining a little bit of ground all of a sudden though.
16:24Two possessions, two positions in quick succession for the number 27.
16:29He's got Elsinger right there ahead of him.
16:39Langenfelder now up into seventh place.
16:45Elsinger ironed up six overall at the moment.
16:50In the Grand Prix.
16:53Got a seventh round four in Sardinia.
16:55Yes, in the deep sand.
16:59DeWolf responding to the threat from McClellan.
17:02The gap 1.1 seconds at the moment.
17:04As they hit the line at the end of that night.
17:09And here is your race leader.
17:11Still being harassed by McClellan.
17:15Through the waves towards the.
17:21Turn 14 where Valant crashed.
17:29Is he doing just enough to stay where he is?
17:33To go 1-1 to win the overall Grand Prix.
17:35He knows every point counts.
17:37Camden, uh, Kai DeWolf.
17:39McClellan, uh, Kai DeWolf.
17:41He knows every point counts.
17:42He knows every point counts.
17:43He knows every point counts.
17:43McClellan, likewise, as he tries to close in on Thibaut Benestan for a top five overall position in the championship.
17:53Here's Langenfelder.
17:55Going big.
17:56Elzinga to his inside.
18:07Got to be careful here.
18:08Two lines emerge into one.
18:11Manages to switch it back.
18:13Gets better drive.
18:13He's going to do what he did to.
18:15One of the other riders that he found his way past down there.
18:24That same part of the racetrack.
18:26Wasn't Ferez, was it?
18:31Maybe Carsmakers.
18:32Either way, Langenfelder up to sixth.
18:47Ten laps complete.
18:50Kai DeWolf lap time last time around.
18:521.47.
18:534.5.
18:546.
18:55A 48.4 for McClellan.
18:57The gap now almost two seconds between the first two.
18:59Adamo, though, and Sasha Kunin only separated by just over a second.
19:04Here they are coming through the waves.
19:11Sun just starting to dip.
19:13This time yesterday for the qualifying races.
19:15We had brilliant sunshine.
19:17And it was a real pain for the riders.
19:20The visibility.
19:20Every time they turned right.
19:24Instead of going through at 1.18, doing 90s, going left to right across the circuit.
19:29Couldn't see the ruts.
19:31Couldn't see the lines.
19:33Kunin's mistake there.
19:34And another one.
19:37Going to be costing him a couple of tenths here and there to Adamo.
19:39But he has a tendency, doesn't he, Sasha Kunin, to quickly delete stuff from his memory.
19:4610th seconder Tom is back.
19:54Look how tight it is.
19:5614 points to get.
19:57As Langenfelder moves his way up the leaderboard.
20:00It was ten a couple of laps ago.
20:03Those two or three passes that we've had in quick succession on Ferrer's, on Karsmakers, on Elzinger.
20:13And of course, he picked up a point when Mathis Valant also fell.
20:21Getting a gap back to 14 points.
20:25Big push for the next ten minutes for the German.
20:28Keep working.
20:4120 minutes gone.
20:46Here's Evertz.
20:48So Liam Evertz in fifth on the Starnless Varner.
20:51Top step here a year ago, two years ago.
20:53Quickly got shuffled back into that fifth position.
21:07McClellan found his way into the lead.
21:11That was just after the opening lap.
21:14DeWolf quickly moved back into second on his team-mate.
21:18Then Adamo came through into third.
21:20And Sacha Koonen, in the long right, behind the start.
21:26Came in the fourth position.
21:27And that was Evertz down to fifth, where he still sits.
21:32Six seconds clear of Langenfelder.
21:36Evertz lap time, 1.52.5.
21:38Langenfelder, 1.50.03.
21:42So there's a good couple of seconds.
21:44A lap in the offering there, so...
21:46Should whittle that down in no time at all.
21:49But you just never know.
21:51The crash, the fitness levels, the fights, the constant fights through the field.
21:56Langenfelder may be feeling a little bit secondhand in the latter stages of this race.
22:00Oliver, dropping down the leaderboard to twelfth now.
22:11It was 14th in race one.
22:12Latter moves by into 11th.
22:14Lendvoque, Vellen, Velland, Gros, Smulders have also gained ground and a position.
22:22Você sabe o que?
22:28Camden McClellan
22:28é provavelmente
22:30colocando o gerenciest,
22:32a performance de sua carreira aqui.
22:35Não é fácil de manter
22:36tão perto com o Caio de Wolff.
22:39E no seu soil,
22:40em esses tipos de condições,
22:43Camden McClellan
22:44colocou ele para a testa.
22:45Eu acho que De Wolff
22:47gostaria de sentar e relaxar um pouco aqui
22:49e aproveitar o momento um pouco mais.
22:51Mas Mcclellan tem outras ideias.
22:54Isso é Braganreis
22:55para o Golf Course amanhã.
22:5710 horas de manhã.
23:03Talvez um pouco mais tarde
23:04por causa da natureza do Grand Prix.
23:09O que é o lado direito
23:10está ficando precário, não é?
23:11O que é o lado esquerdo.
23:18Estão trabalhando
23:19dois dois dois dois.
23:20Peli Gundersen,
23:22o norwegian.
23:24Ele está em 17th posição
23:25no momento.
23:28Normalmente está em Mx250,
23:30rapidamente fez a decisão
23:30de mudar para o Mx2.
23:33into mx2
23:39picking up points here and there
23:46the last couple of rounds
23:50how much has that held up mcclellan though this last lap because three and a half seconds now he
23:56is behind the wall that's going to take some kind of monumental push to close back down on the
24:01the wolf but all it will take is for dwarf just to sort of say you know what there's three and a
24:07half gap manage that switch off and at the blink of an eye guess who's right back on your rear wheel
24:13the cam man
24:19evans being caught by lang and fowler who's looking in terms of his riding looking better
24:26in race two than he did in race one despite that first turn crash
24:31going to be a different story though to try and close down
24:37sasha kuna because he's 24 seconds further on the track
24:41so fifth might be as good as it gets for the championship leader
24:48either way this is going to be a vital position and a vital point
24:51everts fighting with every sinew in his body just to keep the 27 behind him doing a good shotgun wingman
25:07roll for his teammate dwarf but at the end of the straight here langenfeld is going to go long and wide
25:13somehow pulls his back to the middle of the turn langenfeld now up in the fifth place
25:19valerio latter on the number 18 he was another rider that went down cass volk both of those
25:35involved in that first turn melee that took out langenfeld
25:40latter 11th volk 12th 11th in race one trying to put on a good show for his sister lynn
25:46who suffered a leg injury broken leg in the second wmx race well the first wmx race actually on saturday
26:01there's your gap between first and second dwarf now pulling clear it was three and a half that's
26:06scott smolders behind him back marker gap still three and a half seconds although mcclellan was
26:14three tenths quicker only takes a slight error though doesn't it we saw that last year when
26:19he threw away the gp gave it to lucas kunan
26:33the wolf has never won at home the wolf has never won at home big occasion for him here this weekend
26:45the wolf has found his way past latter
26:59as he moves up into 11th place
27:01of course would have liked more would have liked to be operating inside the top five or six he knows
27:15he's capable of that especially in these kind of conditions
27:17top right corner of your screen emergence view now ready for dropping downhill that's the wolf
27:29back onto the start straight mcclellan getting that gap there down to 2.8 seconds
27:38just under three minutes plus two to go
27:40mcclellan fifth in race one a second place here is not going to be good enough for the podium
27:50unless something happens the writer makes a mistake loses times or position
27:56because andrea damo and sasha kunin they're both tied on 40. mcclellan will be on 38 fourth overall
28:10working with the bike constantly gap down to two seconds mcclellan going for the win here just to
28:19get back on the podium oh almost fall to the front there mid-turn dwarf
28:29only two and a half seconds further back you got a darmo look here's kunan
28:34he's lost the toe he's about six and a half seconds further back now as the darmo starts to pull clear
28:46so uh sasha kunan just losing a little bit here and there but maybe he's been told there's a
28:51a podium on the line here probably knew that anyway with second in race one
29:04still a solid performance though this is for sasha kunan
29:07and actually when you think about it sasha kunan finds his way past the darmo that knocks away two
29:28points and puts camden back on the podium doesn't it but it's lost that toe seven seconds six point eight
29:36second he is behind the italian
29:48three laps to go in it
29:52here's a darmo over the line in third
29:54one thing that we have got though is a fantastic battle
30:12for the next three rounds at the top of the championship
30:1615 points separate the first two
30:32got another 23 points further back is andrea darmo 38 points separating the first three with three rounds to
30:39go and when you look what we had at the start of this weekend 40 between langenfelder and dewulf first and second
30:48that gap can soon be swallowed up mcclellan
30:531.8 seconds behind dewulf both riders are quick and efficient through that right hand turn
31:00watch this here to wolf launching his way around just to the top of the berm almost gave away on him
31:11could have got one could have gone one way or the other day
31:17but it didn't is that one of the things that we say yeah this is his day
31:22it'd be his day anyway even if he doesn't win the race because a winning race one second and race two will give him
31:33on 47
31:38but it'll put mcclellan back on the podium
31:44two to go
31:50solid ride this from camden mcclellan
32:01just a little bit bitty and bobby through that right hander
