COPE was written and directed by Anthony Sutcliffe and produced by and starring Nick Hendrix (Midsomer Murders, Marcella, Legend).  The film was shot entirely on location in Bristol and Windsor and also features Jessica Ellerby (Pennyworth, Patience, The Devil’s Hour), Lisa Coleman (Casualty, Tracey Beaker) and Caroline Langrishe (Loveyjoy, Judge John Deed).   It has been officially selected at 12 national and international film festivals (including 4 BIFA Qualifying Festivals) and won 5 awards including Best UK Short, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Performance and Best Score. 00:34I haven't even told my wife.

00:51Six weeks from now.

00:52I'm not complaining.

01:01I've never been one for it.

01:05I've had a pretty standard life.

01:06Nothing too awful.

01:12Nothing to write home about.

01:17Funny to think that it'll all be over soon.

01:18I actually find it brings me a kind of peace.

01:31This isn't just another sodding walk back from the shops in the sodding rain.

01:35It's probably my last.

01:43So look at it.

01:50I continue to play the roles as if nothing's wrong.

04:10It's how I find my inner peace.

04:12As the indignities that make up a life mount up.
